BEWARE. ALWAYS HAVE LAWYER INVOLVED. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. I strongly advise anyone considering this interior designer to proceed with extreme caution. To protect yourself legally, it is imperative to hire a lawyer, draft a clear legal agreement, and meticulously document every communication. Unfortunately, I learned these lessons the hard way during my attempt to work with this designer, who ultimately failed to deliver on the agreed terms. Initially, the project seemed promising. However, as it progressed and more payments were made, communication became increasingly vague, with unfulfilled promises about upcoming work. Due to significant life events on my end, the project required adjustments. Despite assurances from the designer that everything would be accommodated, these promises were not upheld. The designer's focus shifted towards their reputation and the potential promotional value of project photos, rather than fulfilling our agreement. When I pointed out that the deliverables did not match our written agreement (which, regrettably, was drafted by the designer), I was met with claims of miscommunication. The designer insisted that the agreed terms were met, which was not the case. For your protection, I recommend avoiding this designer entirely. If you do choose to proceed, ensure you have legal oversight for all agreements and document every aspect of the project.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience, Ryan Q. We empathize with the challenges of your job loss, but requesting an entirely new design two months after our services were completed was neither feasible, nor within our contract.

Despite this, we went above and beyond by creating multiple alternate solutions that would keep elements of the original design to accommodate your "significant life event." It appears your attorney reviewed our contract (we’re glad someone did) and agreed that we fulfilled our obligations, as we never heard from you after proposing those additional solutions.

We’re truly sorry you were unable to purchase the necessary materials or hire a contractor to complete the design we envisioned together. The design documents we created will help you implement any aspect of the design at a price point that suits your current circumstances.

We wish you the best in completing your project and hope that our designs serve as a helpful guide for your future endeavors.

I reached out to Bailey with the intention of taking full advantage of San Diego outdoor living. I wanted to create a beautiful space to relax & entertain. After several conversations, she went to work and came back with some beautiful designs. I was given 3D drawings so i could truly envision what I was looking at. She was the designer, decorator & project manager, it made the project seamless. When all was said and done i was given more than i expected, the new patio was stunning! She maximized use of the space and turned a drab old deck into a place of zen~ As a repeat customer I also had Bailey help with a dining room & living room design refresh. Again she listened and was able to create picture perfect spaces that were functional & cozy! I wholeheartedly recommend Bailey Bishop Design, you will not be disappointed.

I worked with Bailey on a project with a lot of detailed and difficult elements that were new to me. (i.e. electrified mortise lock, electrified hinges). Bailey was extremely detail oriented and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. Over the course of several months, we worked together to come up with the solutions needed for the clients requests. I highly recommend Bailey to anyone looking for a designer who is going to put as much effort and care into the project as she would her own home. Eight days after my elderly husband passed away, a flood occurred in the laundry and bathroom area of my condo. I needed help with restorative choices for flooring, wall covering, paint colors, and so forth. Searching the internet, I found Bailey as a possible source for help. During that tender time in my life, Bailey turned out to be just right for what I needed. She navigated through the restoration process with a well-balanced sense of respect for my situation and for the business at hand. I felt that she was a good listener and that her greatest care was to find what suited my needs both financial and aesthetic. I ended up with a very pleasant laundry and bathroom area which I enjoy very much. By coincidence, I had another room in my condo needing a designer’s help: I wanted to preserve the sentimental elements of my husband’s bedroom, especially for our adult grandchildren who had grown up with a grandpa who had firefighter themes in his room. Even though much of the furnishings and décor which I wanted to keep was old and even damaged, Bailey used colors, fabrics, custom spread for a new large bed, and two new nightstands and lamps which harmonized the old with the new. The final result was guest room where my grandchildren and others can enjoy memories of Grandpa while having comfortable accommodations. I recommend Bailey as a designer who is efficient, thoughtful, considerate, talented, articulate, practical, cooperative, innovative, clever, amiable, and more.

It is with great pleasure that I write this review of my interior designer/decorator/project manager, Bailey Bishop. Bailey took our 50 year old inherited dilapidated house and transformed it into the retirement home of our dreams. She took time to get to know us before work began and we became fast friends. Her architectural skills became apparent quickly when she completely re-designed the space in the house. She worked closely and well with our contractor. We had many different work-men to include, painter, electrician, tile guy, hvac, landscaper, plumber, etc... Bailey managed them all with a super human ability to stay calm with a Get It Done attitude. If something wasn't right Bailey made sure it was fixed. She was respected and liked by all who worked on this project. Bailey envisioned bringing the outside in with full length windows looking out on the canyon. She designed the patio space with jacuzzi deck, couch, fire pit. It's gorgeous! There's so much more. She designed a doggy door leading out to beautiful dog run. She brought in various artisans for the "Wow Factor". She created guest rooms/offices for my husband and I with wonderful unexpected personal touches. My house is beautiful, comfortable and perfect! We have Bailey to thank for that. Highly recommend!!

We needed to update the pink and purple color scheme of our newly purchased vacation condo in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico. With our budget in mind, BBD created a complementary paint color palette integrated with existing furnishings, travertine tile and granite countertops. She also procured competitive international furniture and window covering purchases to complete the project. The condo regularly receives 5 star reviews on AirBnB and VRBO.
