Laura worked with our family on an extensive remodel that included a new kitchen, laundry room, powder room and finished basement. She is a wonderful designer who has a knack for understanding her clients needs and made suggestions that really took our project to the next level. A consummate professional, Laura frequently ran interference between vendors and contractors, working on our behalf to make sure the results were what we envisioned. She has an amazing eye for color and was so tuned to our preferences that we agreed to have her select the marble for our kitchen counters sight unseen. The entire project turned out beautifully and we would wholeheartedly recommend Laura to anyone looking for design assistance in any price range.

Laura Corcoran is not only a talented professional, she is wonderful to work with, often going the extra mile to make sure her client is not just satisfied, but truly in love with the final design result. Laura has designed our formal dining room , foyer and basement. We have unique tastes; Laura worked diligently with us for amazing, one-of-a-kind professional results. She worked closely with our contractor and all vendors involved, being proactive to meet deadlines and ensure quality materials were delivered. Her attention to detail is impeccable. (We ordered bar chairs and a table which Laura had coordinated with two companies to ensure proper heights of each. Misinformed by the table company, when the table arrived nonreturnable with the wrong dimensions, though no fault of her own, Laura hired a craftsman to re-align the table for us. What could have been a nightmare resulted in a perfect solution with no effort on our part.) Corcoran Design Studio is the only design company we will ever use!

Laura helped us decorate our newly built beach house on Cape Cod. She found the perfect fabrics, lamps and rugs for our home on the beach. Laura has great ideas and she has continued to help me put the final touches in our house with prints and etc. I am very indecisive and Laura has been very patient. I would highly recommend her.

Her use of colors, patterns and style made each home unique and personal to us. She listened to what we wanted but moved us in directions that we would not have thought of. I worked with Laura Corcoran this past fall on my front foyer and piano room. I have worked with several designers over the past 10 years and I found her to be one of the best. She has excellent taste and is a great listener. Unlike many designers which push their taste on you, she listens to your likes and dislikes and puts your style first. She is open minded, flexible and very professional, always on time or calls if running late. She has one of the best presentation styles I have experienced. When presenting ideas she uses a board with all the fabric & trim selections as well as pictures of furniture pieces. This presentation board really gives you an idea of what you are getting and room set-up. I found it to be fantastic as I am a visual person and need this format to really understand what the end product will look like. Laura also has accumulated a great support staff with people in all aspects of the decorating business. Whether you need drapes made, furniture recovered and repaired or a carpet installed, she has it all. Her level of coordination throughout the job made is a most pleasurable experience. Also, Laura is very upfront with pricing and is cognizant of working within a budget. I highly recommend her as a decorator.
