Curate Studios was created in 2019 by business partners and friends, Corey Allen Davey and Hugh Scarbrough. Together, they seek to provide a fresh approach to interior design by highlighting both their unique design process and unparalleled client service. The two met through leadership in ASID, where their friendship was forged. From differing backgrounds of dental, commercial, and residential design, Hugh and Corey found a common interest with Curate Studios. Client Centricity: Our client's vision is our priority. A working relationship built on trust is central to success. Custom Design: Every project is different and should be different! We create custom and efficient spaces for you, your friends, and your family. There’s nothing cookie-cutter happening here! We had been in our house just under a year and knew that, at some point, we wanted to re-do our kitchen and master bathroom. Unfortunately, that process was moved up as we recovered from flooding damage due to the ice storm (February 2021). We needed a designer who understood our intent and lifestyle and could also navigate the supply chain and Covid issues. Additionally, there was little time for planning as we were already finishing the demolition and preparing for new construction. We interviewed several designers but it was clear that Corey had a superior grasp of what we wanted to do. Our selection of Curate Studios came down to 3 main points: 1. Corey and Hugh understood where we wanted to go and there initial ideas reflected that. They did not try to push 'their' vision on us but enhanced our vision from concept to reality. 2. Excellent communication. Corey always provided timely and relevant information and was constantly handling small details and coordinating with our construction crew. 3. Finally, their bid proposal was excellent with both the pricing and process details being clear, concise and fair. Excellent work under some very difficult conditions. Corey and Hugh have our highest recommendation and we would gladly use them again. In fact, we had them come back and decorate the house for Christmas!

Curate Studios helped us with our first master bathroom renovation project. We had no idea what we were doing or where to start. We had a general contractor, but they were limited in design experience and had a lot of questions around what we were looking for. When we reached out to Corey from Curate Studios, he was so incredibly helpful. He was thoughtful with our opinions, preferences, and really took our project to a level we never thought we could achieve. His experience, expertise, communications, and ideas were exceptional at the least. The carefully selected materials- including the flooring, tiles, knobs, cabinets, etc. are all unique designer products that aren't available from your general Home Depot or Lowe's. Our friends and family are constantly in awe of all the work CS has put into our home. Since then, we've actually incorporated Curate Studios for for flip projects and a full home renovation project. We've been more than happy with partnering up and collaborating with CS and are so grateful to have found such amazingly thoughtful designers. The return on our investments have been extremely worthwhile. I highly recommend this team and have nothing but positive things to say about our experience.
