Decorating Essentials

As a recent client of Jeanne Hill, I would like to highly recommend her services in performing both staging and interior decorating work on our home in West Monroe. Jeanne has a doctorate in marketing, and is very capable in the areas of home staging and interior decorating. The home which was built in 1993, was very dated when we prepared to list it for sale. It had extensive wall paper, dark flowered draperies, and country blue paint throughout. With Dr. Hill’s insight and advice, we were able to add tile, mini-blinds, simple sheer draperies, and a new color scheme along with extensive elimination of clutter throughout the home that updated the interior to a 2015 look. Real estate agents and clients visiting the home have been extremely pleased with the clean, light, and modern appearance of this lake front property. I feel that we were able to achieve this new look on a very reasonable budget that shows our home well. Jeanne was able to pick the materials, installers, and furniture arrangements that gave the property a completely new and fresh appearance.

My goal was to create an organized closet for seasonal clothes, shoes and accessories using the existing 25 sq. foot walk-in area. I asked Jeanne's assistance, and she analyzed the problems causing the cluttered, disorganized space that held my clothes. Her solution created a much more open area, and I'm thrilled with my new closet and keep getting new ideas about how to further utilize the space. It's such a pleasure to be able to see all my clothes, to have a place for everything and to even have plenty of space left over for new things. As for cost, most of the suggestions Jeanne made involved rearranging shelves and racks. She did go with me to purchase shoe racks and suggested where I might find a piece of furniture for my accessories at a good price (which I did). I highly recommend Jeanne to solve whatever decorating problems you might have.
