Devane Design

While searching Houzz for design ideas for a kitchen remodel, I came across Devane Design. While doing further research, I found that she had relocated to Palm Coast, Florida, where I am located. I figured it was a sign that it was meant to be! I contacted Chantal and she listened to our concerns. She assisted us with design ideas, color scheme, and she also accompanied us to assist In the selection of stone for the countertop and tile for the backsplash. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. It was a pleasure working with her and would highly recommend.

Has proven to be a a great designer and was awesome at understanding the aesthetic we were looking for in revamping our master bathroom. She helped us choose paint, color, wallpaper, flooring options, vanity, sconces, mirrors,shower and soaking tub. Was a very good communicator in helping us put it all together and it turned out how we pictured it in our minds and was completed within the estimated bubget.

I recently bought a villa, that was in dire need of updates. I happened upon Devane Design, made a call to Chantal, and away we went! She met me within days of my first call - instantly provided great ideas, and estimates. She was able to quickly put my high level thoughts into a comprehensive plan. The colors, floor treatments, wall treatments and carpet gently flow and come together in each room. Her team is outstanding - excellent attention to detail. We hired Chantal of Devane Design to design and manage our 1st level remodel. Her design work took our home from "builder basic" to a custom home and we are extremely satisfied! Her design work included eliminating all the "honey oak" in our home by designing new kitchen cabinets that created an updated look for our kitchen while working with our existing floor plan and Cambria countertops. The "honey oak" trim was replaced with thick white trim that created a clean fresh look. Crown molding was also added which really dressed up our dining and living room. Her design for the update on our staircase completely transformed the look and feel of our foyer. She designed a gorgeous vanity for our powder room and competed the space with beautiful accents. She guided us on selecting all new doors, hardware, light fixtures, carpet, tile, paint and stain for our refinished hardwood floors that were also seamlessly extended into our formal dining room. She also suggested ideas that we had not thought of such as adding can lighting to our family room and under cabinet lighting… both which we are so happy we did. We were very impressed and appreciated Chantal's professional. She holds herself to a high standard and it was very comforting knowing things will not only get done, but they will be done right and on schedule. She is very particular about the contractors she works with and only suggests ones that has good established working relationships with Devane Design. For our project, she recommended Core Design Build for our general contractor and we were VERY pleased with their work and professionalism. Thank you Devane Design… we love our new home!

When it came time to remodel our 80’s oak kitchen, we didn’t know where to start. Chantal Devane of Devane Design provided superior interior design to an extensive remodel of a large master bath, and a retool design to a small laundry room. Chantal was extraordinary in her ability to translate my fragmented vision into a beautiful new master bath. Starting with custom cabinetry that she designed and tile selection, she then anchored the rest of the room with a large stand alone tub and separate shower, creating three strong focal points for an awkwardly shaped room. She tied everything together through amazing color palette, lighting, cabinet & plumbing fixtures, mirrors, and crown/floor moulding. Chantal has an incredible talent in her ability to assess and create strong compelling design elements that are timeless and quality enduring, all within a defined budget. The work provided by these teams of professionals, including Core Design Build LLP (the primary contractor) exemplifies the best in their respective businesses. The entire bathroom remodel experience exceeded my expectations and more. I will be tapping these extraordinary professionals again for future projects.

Chantal did a great job. She helped with paint selection (preventing us from making some poor choices!) She guided us on countertops to pick a universally appealing color scheme and some minor issue with the countertop install were fixed immediately. Very timely communication and very responsive to our questions, input, etc. We'd work with her again!
