Over the years Kate and I have completed 4 projects together of varying scope and size. She is a tireless collaborator who holds herself and her work to an impeccable standard. Kate transformed our woody, cookie cutter western contemporary into an airy, cozy, cool space. Having purchased the home as a spec house in 2007, we never got to really quite make it ours. WIth ideas about paint, stain, lighting and hardware, the space has gone from drab to stunning. Kate has exceptional taste and a great understanding of and care for the client's vision. She is able to work within so many budgets and is willing to look at a home as a long term project, chipping away at areas for years if that's what the client wishes. We've worked with her on smaller projects for years and she always brings fresh, modern and fun ideas. She's well researched and incredibly detail oriented. She's proactive and meets (and often beats) deadlines. Her millwork designs are also amazing. In the fall, she drew up the design for a TV cabinet in a very challenging and very limiting corner of our living room. Windows and a fireplace made the tight space appear an insurmountable challenge for a piece. However, Kate never gave up and managed to work with the cabinet maker and AV techs to create an beautiful and functional corner. Kate, deservedly so, has an excellent reputation. In a small town, I am constantly hearing people sing her praises for her work, talent and dedication. Plus, she's incredibly pleasant. What more could one ask for in a designer?

I've had the pleasure of working on and off with Kate for the last seven years. My faith and trust in her as a designer has yielded several amazing interior transformations. She has exquisite taste which is not only reflected by her store inventory but by her private design work. She is knowledgeable in all genres of interior design, from traditional to contemporary, from coastal to mountain and everything in between. She helps her clients think outside the box, listens to their ideas and is mindful of their budgets. Kate is the best! We used her to help us remodel our house and completely furnish it. She was very professional, fun to work with and had some excellent ideas. The project ran on time and we were thrilled with the end result. We were not local so we relied on her a lot and she was easy to communicate with via text and email, very responsive and worked well with our builder and architect. We would HIGHLY recommend her!
