Living in rural Ohio presents many challenges, including finding a designer who would meet the vision I always had for our unique home. I saw Eric’s designs on Houzz and really liked what I saw. Then I saw that he was based in MILLERSBURG, not that far away from me. Then I met him and Troy and really felt like we could bring everything together. WE DID! Working with Eric and Troy made the kitchen design the best experience I could have ever wanted. I never felt pressured to accept Eric’s ideas and felt he was completely open to discussing what I envisioned for the space. Keeping our budget in mind, we moved through the process, with Eric and Troy promptly answering my questions, texts, and phone calls. That was one of the most important parts of the project for me, which was moving forward even when several parts of the project relied on our involvement. We, the homeowners, wanted to do some of the work ourselves and they encouraged us in the process. But we also knew our limits and EK designs knew what was needed to get the project to the finish line. I highly recommend EK Designs and truly enjoyed our time with them. I would bring them in again for any space I would like to see come to life.

I am very pleased with EK Design. They asked what I wanted in a kitchen, they listened, drew up a plan with some of their ideas and we were on our way to a beautiful larger kitchen. We decided to make kitchen bigger and had to take some room from the garage. We had trouble at first trying to get a contractor, they were all very busy since this was after covid. After we picked out colors of cabinets, lights, and fixtures, they ordered everything that was needed, which was nice so we didn't have to deal with any of that. And was always keeping me informed of what was happening and any issues occuring. They also stopped by during construction to make sure everything was going as planned. Everyone did a great job!

We were looking for some help to space plan and design our new home and found Erik to help us. EK Interior Design went above and beyond to make sure we loved the design, the features, colors and quality pieces that are now part of our home. Erik's knowledge and intuitive creativity helped incorporate our own tastes into his design without compromising the overall design. What we love about Erik's approach is that he is not out to create a museum type home that is completely out of reach in terms of budget and livability. He uses his design skills to create a custom home design that includes the latest trends yet enables us to "live" in our home. We also are super impressed with the sourcing of the furniture, as the market is so difficult right now to easily find furniture at reasonable pricing. Troy, his business partner, is instrumental in finding ways to secure what you need within your budget and in shortest as possible timelines. I never thought that everything my wife and I shared with Eric during the whole process would come to reality. Especially within budget! From the very first sit down to the final walk through he was right there with us. We had tons of questions and he answered every one of them.
