Sharon was terrific to work with and I loved her ideas on color! Sharon listened to our specific design needs and adapted flawlessly. Sharon also worked with my budget, which was greatly appreciated. My husband gutted our bathroom and was willing to do whatever I wanted in the rebuild. Every girl's dream - a clean slate!! And I froze....I had no idea where to begin. Although I am across the state I reached out to Eye for Decorating for help, not sure if she would be interested in a long distance consult. Through pictures and messaging back and forth, Sharon was able to bring my vision to reality. The color combinations and vanity suggestions were perfect! It was like she was standing in the bathroom with me and not 300 miles away. She even had suggestions for details I would have never thought of but pulled the whole project together. Having worked with Sharon before, choosing her to guide us decorating our new home was a no-brainer! Her assist was particularly valuable in this year of COVID. She made numerous trips to our home for planning, measuring, and evaluating the final product as furniture and “jewelry” items were delivered. She listens, offers her opinion when asked, and goes the extra mile to make sure we are happy with each item. Sharon’s sense of color is amazing! I worked with Sharon to refresh my kitchen and dining area. It turned out amazing! She picked paint colors for the cabinets and walls, selected lighting and dining room chairs. We worked with Sharon this Summer while deciding on exterior colors for our home.... and are glad we did!! Sharon walked us through the process both in person and by FaceTime starting with choosing paint colors, testing sample colors, color placement and finding just the right fit for our home and our neighborhood! She made the decision process stress free and enjoyable. We are so pleased with our color choice and after several weeks, we are still receiving compliments from neighbors and passerby’s.

Sharon certainly does have an “eye for decorating.” I hired her to help me pick the paint colors for my townhome. Her ability to see color in a space actually made this task very easy. The colors look awesome. She suggested a quartz countertop that perfectly complimented the new color scheme. Once the painting was done, she helped me place artwork and accessories to complete the finished spaces. Sharon is a delight to work. She was able to make suggestions that fit so well with my style. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to refresh their home.

My husband and I received Sharon's service as a wedding gift. Sharon helped us to a build upon and enhance our already furnished living room with details and accessories to pull it all together, add color, and finish the look. She really helped to make the space more homey and finished.

Sharon worked with me to decorate our remodeled home. We communicated through Facetime (to walk through the space so that she could see the spaces), text messages (snapshots of spaces, potential purchases while shopping, quick questions) and through email (questions, suggestions of finds, etc). Sharon has a great eye for what works and what doesn't and has great ideas. She did some shopping for me from a distance and made recommendations for online purchases, as well. I was extremely happy with everything that we worked on together and I also learned from Sharon for making future decisions. I liked the idea of paying someone for their time and focusing on the items I needed help with. Her hourly fees were very reasonable and she delivered great value for that cost. I highly recommend Sharon whether working with her remotely or in person.

Sharon has a wonderful sense of design, color and spacing. Our house was new construction and needed a lot of detail work to make it feel welcoming and warm. The very first thing that Sharon did was to help pick paint colors. She was able to pick the perfect colors to start the palette of our entire home. From there we went onto designing our custom kitchen, amazing bathrooms with custom tile and all floor coverings. From there we moved onto choosing a full house of furniture. Sharon has many strong skills as an interior designer, but I think her best skill is that she is a great listener. Because we were downsizing and essentially starting over from scratch it was all quite challenging for me. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted in this next stage of life and I was amazed that she was able to help me find my new style! Even though we lived 80+ miles apart she effortlessly made it work. We had several shopping excursions that was so much fun it was more like shopping with a best friend. We quickly found our groove and I had complete confidence that she understood what I liked, and her choices were always spot on. As a person, she is thoughtful, caring, and very easy to work with. Over the course of 10 months Sharon transformed our shell of a house into a beautiful welcoming home. Everyone who walks thru our front door (usually with mouth agape) comments first on the color flow then the kitchen cabinets and quartz counters before moving onto the built-in's, furniture and lighting fixtures. I love to watch their eyes bounce from wall to wall and room to room just amazed at the final result. When all was said and done, every single aspect worked perfectly. Without hesitation I absolutely recommend Sharon for any decorating project you may have.

Sharon's biggest strength is her eye for color and ability to look at a room and visualize how to make the best use of the space. Sharon incorporated some of my items with new ones to create a great new look. She listened to my ideas and also made me go outside my comfort zone while staying within my budget. I am glad I had her help and I am very happy with the result.

Sharon to the rescue! I called Sharon in a time of GREAT need. She took what I thought was a disaster of a basement and made it something that just makes you say WOW when you walk downstairs. Sharon helped me select a new paint color for the walls, she arranged the new furniture and purchased additional pieces and artwork. Sharon worked with me on upfront on my style and took the time to understand what I was looking to create. She worked on a budget so we agreed early on and I know she worked hard to find the right pieces for the right prices. I couldn't have been happier. Sharon was wonderful. I was a bit intimidated looking for a decorator when we moved into our new house. I wasn't remodeling a house or even a room. I was looking for someone to help us plan a cohesive look for a new home. I didn't want any room to look as though it was an afterthought. Sharon was simply perfect for the job. I know she has done jobs much bigger than mine. But her services were easily scalable to any size and cost. She helped us pick paint colors based on our personalities and the feel that we wanted for our home. In fact she found a great color for our front door that really made the front of our house pop! She suggested various types of window treatments that I simply would not have thought of myself. We ended up with beautful plantation shutters in our family room that have gotten rave reviews by guests. She helped us shop for particular furnishings when we were going for a very specific look. She even helped to guide us on furniture and lighting placement that helped maximize our space and help our rooms flow. I highly recommend Sharon and I would not hesitate to call her again if a decorating need arises.
