My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

With many years in the field of interior design, Elena's time spent abroad and in the beautiful Berkshire hills has influenced her unique aesthetic sensibility. Clean, contemporary and exciting are all adjectives that can describe her style. From small renovations to full scale new construction, the Germain team has the knowledge and experience to successfully carry your project through from conception to completion. The firm is highly skilled in creating beautiful, functional interiors with the clients needs at the forefront of the design process. From Berkshire cottages to glamourous city residences- Germain has the experience of working closely with the client, Contractors, Architects and Landscapers to create the space the client has envisioned. Projects include both a residential and commercial interior design. Germain has worked on projects throughout Berkshire County, Northwestern CT, Boston and New York City.

Boo. This client demanded a credit card refund after receiving two lamps from us. She complained about one and received compensation. Received a new one. Then demanded a full refund from the credit card company. To our detriment.

Our remodel was completed on-time, with design features that adapted and improved with the ever changing realities of remodeling. With Germain, you can be as involved as you want - but feel confident if you need them to "make the call". Highly Recommend!

Great designer with modern sensibility that's also comfortable and cozy. Elena has designed so much of my house, from the bathrooms to the furniture layout to the tiles, carpets, paint colors and lighting. She transformed my TV den from a boring room with sofa and TV into a cozy retreat that my kids never want to leave. Fantastic style!

We can't say enough about how terrific it's been to work with Elena and Tanya of Germain. We have worked with them on a multi-phase project that included new construction and renovation. We managed these projects remotely, so it gave us great confidence to have Germain "on the ground" looking after things and making the countless day-to-day decision on our behalf. Throughout the design process, they took great care to make selections that were creative, in line with the integrity of our home and respectful of our budget. They have a great eye for color and a fantastic sense aesthetic. They take a collaborative approach, honored our vision and taste, and the result is a home that is warm, wonderful and inviting. Not only is their work terrific, but we thoroughly enjoyed working with them. Can"t go wrong!

Working with Germain has been a fantastic experience. Elena and her team were super helpful in designing a room or a space and coming up with design/product options to make it easier for me to choose. And thanks to her amazing sense of style and taste, my house is decorated and put together way more beautifully then I'd imagined.

I worked with Elena and her team on a new house build and she was an integral member of the design team from planning to execution. The design and function or our beautiful home exceeded our wishes! She worked well with all of the sub contractors and was a pleasure for us to deal with during what always becomes a stressful time. We were so happy with the finished result that we are currently working with her on a second project.
