Stephen is a very good interior designer. He listened to my ideas, and when I had none (which was often), he always had great options to choose from. He wasn't afraid to tell me "no" when i veered from what he knew would work. My condo looks SO much better after he finished. I would HIGHLY recommend him as an interior designer. (He is also a very talented artist).

I had the opportunity to work with this company by recommendation, was not so sure just like any one, but I was impressed about the knowledge and how respectful he was about my own idea and how he put that into consideration one 100%. He really managed to work around my time, since I had visitor coming to from out of town. The time line given was on time. Thank you for all the great work you did for me and my wife! I am a picky, demanding and easily frustrated man. I have an elevated sense of style and I demand the highest levels of both quality, and creativity. I want fine things that no one else has. Stephen delivers in ways that no other designer can. Period. My space was limited, but I insisted on it being dramatically beautiful for my potential clients because this industry demands it. He asked important questions: what kind of clients? What kind of meetings? How much money at stake? These were important in structuring the design of certain rooms because my aims, he said, could be furthered by evoking certain feelings through design. He wasn't wrong. My home office is profoundly stylish, but is also functional. My clients have mentioned on numerous occasions how exquisite my decor is, and they have all remarked that the elevated and refined nature of their surroundings gives them the appropriate level of confidence required in major endeavors of significant financial commitment. Plainly, Stephen was able to transform my home office into something confidence-inspiring. That is not an easy feat, but he succeeded. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Stephen Petty is a reliable, thoughtful and talented designer. His web site inspired me to explore and play. He is a pleasure to work with and have a NYC attitude of a doer witch worked for me perfectly. Being a very busy woman I needed to completely redesign my entire house before my family visit. The project was done on time and I LOVE my new house. I liked that he is took the time to really understand my lifestyle, needs and interests and created my unique style in my house. I hired GP Interior design earlier this year to help complete a front room my husband and I couldn't agree on. We both had pieces of furniture and accessories we loved but had trouble merging our "styles" plus the room had a couple of odd niches built in that I could never figure out how to make look good. Stephen, was great at putting our minds at ease with the design process and immediately began working. He utilized many pieces we already had and did a great job with odd niches. He definitely has an eye for those hard to fit elements and furniture placement. He came in just under budget, ON TIME, and didn't try push or sell us on any unnecessary extras. We are definitely planning to use him again once the Mr. and I can agree on what room to do next.
