High St.

We did not have a good experience with High St. Both of the two designers assigned to us, first one then a second replacement, were very disappointing. Their visions took precedence over ours, and they scoffed at our preferences. They repeatedly delayed the process, despite our requests to move as quickly as possible. In the end, Matt was slow to respond and showed no concern or regret about the situation. We lost money and time and felt disrespected and frustrated. Definitely would NOT recommend their services.

Matt and his High St. team offer a fresh perspective. They know how to embrace the NEW/NEW and still appreciate the classics. The expansive multi floor showrooms and workrooms are impeccable . Gorgeous furniture and fabrics and the finest giftware are all featured in this amazing New York City style space. Perfect location too. Our pandemic-boredom refresh was without a hitch. So impressed.

Matt Knott's attention to detail and creative designs are outstanding. If you're looking for someone who knows how to bring the WOW factor to a space, then look no further. It's also important to note, he has an exceptional architectural sense of design. It is a skill that definitely sets him apart from the herd.

Matt Knotts and High Street? You can’t go wrong! My husband is very particular and opinionated about how he wants things. Matt is patient, really listens and thinks about points where beautiful design and functional living intersect. We needed more storage for our child with Down syndrome’s art and toys. No problem, and no pressure to change how we live. Instead, Matt patiently worked to incorporate doable, sophisticated solutions that work with our lives. We can’t wait for our next project to start with High St. (next week!). Matt reimagined our kitchen, great room and outdoor space. We couldn’t be happier with the gorgeous results.

We went with High St. after several failed attempts with other interior designers. While their professional portfolio speaks for itself in terms of their quality of work, I will try to articulate why they worked so well for us compared to others. On the design side of things, they are very accommodating to our style and want work with our vision, while at the same time establishing their expertise and not being shy about explaining why our novice ideas might not work in a given space. This balance is exceptional, only comes with experience, and ensures everyone is happy. On the business side of things, High St. is professional, organized, and streamlined - traits often overlooked when considering interior decorating. They have an online portal where each room is organized by potential ideas/furnishings/other items, which makes it easy to remember all the things you discussed, approve/disapprove, and order all in one place. All in all, they are an extremely well rounded, mature interior design company that has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Our designer was Megan Perry, though everyone at their showroom is a delight to speak with.

After building a new home I decided to hire professional help with the interior design. I interviewed several designers here in Cincinnati only to be somewhat disenchanted. My budget was small and quite honestly what they were offering was just old and predictable. Cookie cutter concepts. Then I met with Matt Knotts from High Street. I knew immediately that they were out-of-the-box thinkers. Fresh, clean design. Elegant yet new and young. Just what I wanted. I was not disappointed! When they were finished our house was magazine worthy (even at my meager budget). In fact their work on our house was featured in Sophisticated Living Magazine. I have referred them many times with great feedback. Very rarely does anyone you hire anymore meet or exceed your expectations. They certainly did. In addition they are professional and fun to work with. Just great, very talented people.

The entire High Street team is amazing! We began the process of building a new home and found ourselves overwhelmed with the task of how to bring our ideas to life. The process with Matt and Sara allowed us to share ideas and bring them to life. They also managed to timelines and budget perfectly. We couldn’t be happier with the paint colors, fixtures, cabinets and furnishings.
