Hook & Hook Renovations & Design is an award-winning family-owned and operated company with over 40 years of experience that offers a full range of design services. Hook & Hook Designs has been serving Nanaimo, the Saanich Peninsula and the Greater Victoria area since 2016, though owners Andi and Larry Hook have been working in the industry for much longer. Our designers are experienced with modern and traditional concepts, and we believe in collaborating directly with clients, as well as builders and other designers. We are extremely happy with the renovation and design work recently completed by Hook & Hook (Larry and Andi). We purchased a townhouse that needed a "cosmetic" renovation and Andi and Larry listened to our vision and created a design and plan to meet both our needs and budget. They also came up with ideas that we had not thought of that added special touches to each room. Andi and Larry were absolutely amazing to work with throughout the renovation. Larry's custom cabinetry is beautiful and he made sure each piece was installed to both his and our satisfaction. Andi also captured our 'open concept/contemporary' style in her design, choosing finishing's that look beautiful. We now have a gorgeous new home that looks amazing! We would highly recommend Hook & Hook for any renovation or design project you may have (big or small).

Very happy with the results. I wanted to expand my kitchen which required taking down a wall. Plus had to add on to the existing hardwood floor -few problems with that...some squeaks we are still dealing with and having to order more boxes of flooring which is an added expense. Andy and Larry were very open to my opinions on the design and changes that I made. Went over the budget a bit because of MY expensive tastes- but it was worth it! Project took longer than anticipated but a lot of that had to do with Xmas holidays and suppliers not being available. Altogether I would say that Hook and Hook had a very good crew to complete the project....and they tolerated my dog and me hanging around!

Our experience with Hook & Hook was 5 stars, they were completely open and honest throughout the whole renovation progress. Their estimates of both time and cost were on point. Andi and Larry were always available to answer questions and provide reasonable and varied solutions to any issues that surfaced. Andi Hook has an excellent and frugal design eye, while Larry really understands construction and was able to help us prioritize as we moved through this process. We are beyond happy with the end results and Hook and Hook. I would recommend this company to my friends with NO hesitation.

Larry did an excellent job on the finishing and cabinetry in our house. He took it right from the drywall stage and completed everything from custom built in cabinetry to all the tile work and paint. They were extremely accommodating to all our requests. the attention to detail and craftsmanship was outstanding.
