I had the pleasure to work with Katie on paint colors, full master bathroom re-design as well as other braining storming secession's. Katie is phenomenal at color design. She is also very good at listening to and understanding her clients style, needs and coming up with the perfect design that exceeds expectations.

Katie helped us design our family, living, and dining rooms. She also helped design our hallway entranceway. We gave her color preferences and told her how we wanted to use our family room. In our family room we wanted plenty of storage space for toys, games, and homework supplies, Lastly, we wanted a table which would function as a game and homework table and an adiitoinal place where guests can eat when we entertained, Katie designed a floor plan and suggested every aspect of furniture, lighting, and flooring to make our vision come alive. The next project in our home was our dining and living rooms. In our center hall colonial, our living room and dining room looked like a long bowling alley. With her expertise with regard to furniture placement, molding, flooring, and window treatments, these rooms were turned into an elegant and beautiful area. We continue to receive many compliments when guest enter. When Katie suggested an occasion table for our family room and a wing back chair for our living room which didn't work for us, she quickly adapted without any designer attitude and found us an ottoman for our family room and a different wing back chair for our living room which we felt matched our comfort and taste. Katie also designed our daughter's room and it has grown with her as she moved into her teen years. Since we haven't completed our home yet, I am sure we will be calling upon her talents again in the future. I feel Katie can work with anyone and I have recommended her to friends and family members. In fact, my sister has called upon her to help her with her living and dining rooms and is pleased as well. She has the talent, attitude and professionalism to undertake and complete a job within a budget and your timeline.

Katie has designed three projects for us. Each one has exceeded our expectations. Katie's creativity and design knowledge are outstanding and guided us to see beyond our initial plans. We were particularly pleased in her choice of tile for both our floors and fireplace. The tile and hearth design, along with her choice of fabric and color, resulted in a warm comfortable setting that we love to use. We highly recommend IA+D and look forward to working with them again.

I met Katie about two years ago when I was shopping for a bedroom set. After coming to my house to measure and sketch out the room we met and she presented to us her recommendations for the furniture and layout of the space. She did a wonderful job in putting together a mixture of the pieces I had selected and she had suggested to turn the room from drab to elegant. She came up with great ideas. One of my biggest complaints was the small tiny closet space I had in the bedroom. Katie suggested I cut open the closet doors the length of the closet and she designed a built in unit for the indented window space that never had any use, what a big difference that made in the room. Katie used each space so I can get the maximum use out of everything. We were so happy with the results of the bedroom we started on the dining room. She knew we had some art work we wanted to work around and she did a phenomenal job putting it all together. Some of the things she suggested I would have never thought about on my own. Simple things like opening up the wall from my dining room to the kitchen which not only opened up the space but allowed me to be in the kitchen and interact with the family in the dining room. I was so pleased with the results that we went on to do almost every single room in the house with Katie's help! She helped us pick out room colors that flow throughout the house, furniture for each of the rooms and carpet. Our last project was remodeling our main bathroom. I wanted that very modern look with a separate tub and shower in this very relative small space. She really made it work and everyone who walks in there is wowed. Katie listens to what you want and is respectful of your tastes and guides you to beautiful results. I can go on and on about how pleased I am with Katie and her work but I think you have the idea by now. I would use Katie again in a heartbeat. Thank you Katie for giving me such a beautiful home!

We met Katie shortly before relocating from California to New Jersey, while our new home was being built. Even though we were 3,000 miles away, Katie went out of her way to visit our home during various stages of completion, continuously consulting with us regarding design ideas for literally every room in our home (furnishings, window and floor treatments, and accessories). The end result of our relationship with her is a home that is not only beautifully decorated, but that "fits" us just perfectly. Katie masterfully guided us through a project to design and decorate our entire first floor. She immediately understood our vision for a transitional contemporary style and has helped us create a clean contemporary style that is livable, sophisticated, and calm. She guided us through the process of selecting "fine art" pieces for our home and worked with us and each artist to scale them appropriately to our space. Finally, she has been been very sensitive to the fact that we have very different decision making process, ensuring that we are both comfortable throughout the entire process.

Our projects included custom designed treatments as well as major design projects. Katie has always been professional to her clients and suppliers. Since custom window treatments are more conceptual in design, Katie prepares detailed instructions for both the client to approve and the fabricator to follow.
