We were looking for someone to guide us in color for our exterior home and Interior Gaines recommended some great ideas! We finalized our color and were happy with the results!

I had my room completed for me by Interior Gaines. I really liked my desk and T.V. I enjoy my built in closet. My clothes fit nicely in the drawers and they hang up neatly. The Interior Gaines interior decorators Janene and Margaret, have provided services throughout my home. What I liked most about their business, was the range of abilities they offered in beautifying where I live. They did an amazing job in working closely with me to coordinate wall colors throughout the house, ensuring that flooring flowed aesthetically with wall colors, that furniture selection enhanced the look, and the final pieces of window treatments and accessories gave the precise ambiance I was looking for. I love my home and get amazing compliments from friends and guests. And the best thing I liked is they did on my budget. I'm not rich but I want my home to be gorgeous and place I want to return at night (champagne tastes on a beer budget which I know most of you reading this can relate to). INTERIOR GAINES!! You are so right. Planning ALL aspects of your updates/changes to your house FIRST, before, starting the project is a definite MUST. My husband and I decided we needed new exterior doors on our house. (We took about thirty years to decide this!) After much ‘todo’ with the door company, (receiving the wrong finish, etc), our doors were put in. Even picking a new doorbell took time and there were many styles from which to choose. Unfortunately, we didn’t contact Interior Gaines before we started this part of the project! What we DIDN’T figure, was there was an immediate need to paint the shutters on the house (Yipes! What color?), get some outside porch lights (Yuck! There were so many to look at), to compliment our beautiful doors, and last, but not least, we desperately needed a new mail box (ours was definitely too small and very ugly!). Well….’.Interior Gaines’ to the rescue by recommending three different colors of weather worthy, exterior paint for us to try. We found our color, easily, by painting big swatches of all three paints on different shutters; standing back and looking at our house from different angles. It was definitely an easy pick with Janene’s advice. We weren’t sure, (with so many porch lights available), exactly what we should purchase to match our doors, or for that matter, exactly what type of mailbox to get. We showed our preferences to Janene and she helped us by pointing out the qualities of the items which would enhance the appearance of our new doors as well as give us the long range service we were looking for. I hadn't decided how I wanted to decorate my home. I thought I may need some assistance, so I decided to hire Interior Gaines. I definitely had ideas of my own and Mags and Janene were willing to work with my budget and my concept ideas. Color was my first priority and upon deciding on what color family I liked the best, Mags and Janene were able to put together a very pleasant color palette for my home. Interior Gaines advised me on how to set the backdrop for my home so that as we added furniture and draperies, my home will come together easily like a puzzle. I love Interior Gaines! About two years ago I saw something about them in the local press. I took advantage of their consultation and ended up hiring them to redecorate just one room in my home, the guest bedroom. I wanted to see what they did before committing to more than just one room. As it turned out, I liked it a lot and went on to do two bathrooms, a laundry room, and my office. Wanted to do the entire house, but life took over and we decided to continue the project at some future time. Working with these two talented women was one of the most fun things I’ve ever done. They are so energetic and outgoing that I had to just love them from the start. I was invited to be as involved as I wanted to be, or I could turn over everything to them. We struck a happy medium where I did some of the shopping on the Internet but left the local shopping up to them. It was like Christmas every time they walked in the door with armloads of vases and toss pillows and fabric samples and occasional tables. We then set about deciding what to keep and what to send back and had a great time in the process. Janene and Mags are very good at being able to pinpoint their client’s tastes and tailoring their suggestions appropriately. They are so easy to work with and do not try to push their own preferences on to their client. Their ideas are creative, they will work within whatever budget constraints may exist, and if you want to keep your old dresser, for instance, they will design the room around that old dresser and make it look like it belongs there. Their rates are reasonable, their ethics beyond reproach, and they’re great at what they do. Give them a try . . . you won’t be sorry! I had recently moved into my home and was not sure what to do....something needed to be done, but I was directionless. Interior Gaines came into my home and set a plan. I was advised about color and concepts. I had a hard time deciding what style I really liked. Interior Gaines was patient and detailed...characteristics vital to my going forward. As we implemented the decor concept, I was glad I had looked for advice and had not set out on decorating myself. Many mistakes that could have happened were avoided.
