We loved working with Kat! She and her awesome team worked in conjunction with our builder as we remodeled a house we recently purchased. From paint color to new furniture to rugs to window treatments, etc., she helped us design and decorate throughout our home. She took the time to learn our style and worked in pieces of furniture that we wanted to keep without having to buy all new things. Her passion and knowledge are evident and working with Kat was wonderful collaboration and experience for us. We love how everything turned out and we instantly felt at home. We would not hesitate to recommend Kat to anyone looking for interior design help!

Besides Kat's design talent she and her team want you to be happy. Questions or concerns are discussed and addressed very timely. Small details you may voice are not considered "too small" to be addressed. My renovation is functional as much as it is balanced and beautiful. A friend recommended Kat Robbins to my wife and me after we sold our multi-story home of 22 years and downsized into a far smaller, single-floor condominium apartment in a gut-renovated school building. Our apartment -- with a large, open living/dining room and kitchen, two bedrooms and a "bonus" bedroom we have turned into a home office -- offered a blank slate for us to design a new living space. We already had a strong sense, with opinions to match, about what we like and don't like, but we knew we needed a design pro to help us focus and get things done. From our first meeting with Kat, we knew we'd found the right person. Almost immediately, she picked up on what we were envisioning. She developed a design for a large wall system to store books, records, CDs, audio equipment and a large TV. Kat's design was almost spot-on: we had only a few suggestions, which she quickly incorporated into the design. She then connected with a cabinetry shop and oversaw their work, which was completed in a surprisingly short time. With the wall system in place, we realized we wanted to replace many of our existing furnishings. Kat helped us find a large bookcase/entertainment cabinet for our guest bedroom, an oversized set of storage drawers for our entry hall, a fantastic mid-century dining room table and chairs, and a custom-built sectional sofa for our living room (which, like the wall system, was built and delivered in a very short time). She also found a carpenter to build a wall-mounted, wraparound work table for our office, and an upholsterer to repair a beloved but long-neglected mid-century chair. With all the major work completed, we've continued to meet with her to fine-tune our new home. In addition to a great eye, a sensitivity to her clients' tastes and budget, an extensive network of top-notch specialty vendors and sources for hard-to-find services, Kat is an absolute delight to work with: stress-free, enthusiastic, responsive, and apparently egoless. She is obviously dedicated above all to helping her clients create homes that reflect their tastes and preferences, and can provide just the right amount of guidance, support and know-how to bring their visions to life. If I could give Kat Robbins an extra star I would! After our first meeting, I knew she was the one for our project! I was impressed by her portfolio and knowledge of design and architecture, but what struck me most was her authenticity and dedication to her trade. I finished my second project with Kat Robbins Interiors recently and Love it. My first project with Kat was renovating a bathroom a few years ago. She listened to my needs and helped me create a wonderful space. I found Kat professional at all times and very patient with me when I was indecisive. When I was ready to redo my dining room and touch up a 1/2 bath, I knew Kat would be the one to help me out. She found me the perfect chandelier. She had many to show me and with each one we got closer to what I wanted. Again she listened to me and found the perfect fixture. And on budget! She did an amazing job for me with window treatments and wall color. Kat also has a gift of color/paint selection. She has picked colors for me in three rooms and each one is just the right shade and color. I found Kat easy to work with and very talented. She really took the time to listen to me to understand what I wanted to accomplish. I will definitely use Kat for my next project. and I have recommended her to friends.
