I have used the services of Lyrd. Although I’ve met both owners, most of my communication was with Stephanie. Here is my main message to you. Understand what you are buying; double check if what you are asking and expecting is what’s going to be delivered. Especially make sure to read the fine print, and ask about any terminology that you’re not familiar with. When I met Stephanie, I tried to be very clear about what I was looking for. I wanted to get rid of the wall that separates my living room from my kitchen, and I wanted a fresh updated look to these two rooms that were going to become one conjoined space. I kept waiting for this final project that would finally show me how my kitchen and living room were going to look, because at this point, I only had seen a picture (rendering, as I’ve learnt later) of my living room. But that never came. My final project had a construction plan of both spaces and the previous rendering of my living room. There was never that final view of how my space was going to look. I would not recommend.

I'm always excited to call on the girls at Lyrd to help furnish my personal home, rental home selections, or refer to a client. My business is selling homes and they help set us up for success whether it's staging, paint colors, or simply giving our seller's advice on how to move their existing furniture around. I can confidently say our homes move with less days on market because of them!

Stephanie and Shellie of Lyrd Interiors were GREAT! We hired them to help us turn a room over our garage into a home office as well as help us make our living room work and look better for us. (The picture attached is of the home office.) The craftspeople they used -- to install hardwood floors, build built-in shelving (he also refinished our dining room table and built us a new butcher block top for our kitchen counter) were excellent at what they did, professional, on-time, friendly and all the rest. Stephanie and Shellie were highly knowledgeable, very professional and easy to work with, met all deadlines and budgets. Highly recommend!

Shellie Smyers at Lyrd Interiors is amazing at what she does. I have a large territory of Trade Professionals in my territory that I work alongside and broker products to and Shellie is by far is my "Designer-Go-To" when I have a client needing help! Her personality sparkles and much as her creative visions and she is truly a pro at helping people pull together designs. I would highly recommend her or Stephanie any day, to anyone looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and fun design team to help on an upcoming project. Whether it be commercial spaces or residential, a bathroom remodel or a new build, there is nothing Shellie can not do and succeed at! =)

I cannot thank Lyrd Interiors enough for the beautiful job they did decorating my home. I moved from a 1,700 sqft townhome into a 2,800 sqft house and needed everything (furniture, rugs, etc.). Stephanie with Lyrd helped me decorate the entire house in a timely fashion, all while adhering to the budget we set. Her vision and knowledge of design shined through as she truly transformed an empty house into a beautiful home. I highly recommend Lyrd Interiors to anyone that is looking for an interior designer, no matter the size of the project or their budget.

Stephanie transformed my house to a home. She provided options for me to review and us to select. After selection she ran the project from beginning to end. I used her on three different occasions (two of which involved construction activity). I will use her services again.

They were able to see our vision, make and maintain a plan while staying in budget! Work and purchases on point.

Highly recommend! We have used Stephanie with SBDS for two Restaurant projects in Houston and it has been great to work with her. She is responsive, punctual and very reliable. We also like that she is local to Houston and understands our specific needs and designs clever solutions. She is a great problem solver and handles difficulties with solutions. The first project was taking our current restaurant that needed a facelift (it was starting to look dated) and make a plan for how to go about updating the restaurant over the next 15 months so we do not close and are able to budget appropriately. The restaurant looks so much better! I can't wait to continue the plans, all of us look forward to the upcoming months as we have been impressed with the vision when installed. Our second project was renovating an existing restaurant to reopen as our concept. Everyone that has come by loves the design and she kept us on budget. It also saved us SO MUCH TIME! You never realize how much time you spend obsessing over details until you have someone to help you and their ideas are almost always better. She also did my friend's bar on Washington and did an excellent job.
