Our experience with Master Plan Interiors and Mrs. Kathy Kikta proved to be worthwhile, pleasing and truly outstanding. Our open floor plan home, with its neutral walls and fabrics (living room, dining room, great room, kitchen and sun room), desperately needed help! Mrs. Kikta guided us through the selection process and showed us the many options in "the world of paint colors, wall paper styles, types and quality". Mrs. Kikta's expertise, attitude, keen eye, and the manner in which she shared designing tips, such as the arranging of furniture, selecting appropriate lighting fixtures (i.e., an exquisite chandelier over our kitchen table, and a hand-painted chest in our breakfast area); which together not only enhanced but brought a new cohesive beauty to that living space, as it connected visually to the other areas of our home. The same principle was used in transforming a dull, beige painted hall bath room into a luxurious powder room by selecting an appropriate wall paper for us. We engaged Kathy Kikta's services based on a personal recommendation and seeing the results of her previous work. She is extremely pleasant to work with, always considers your taste and opinion, never pushes her ideas over your own, but I always found her ideas superior to mine! Her experience and her contacts are extensive and she was always available by text, phone and e-mail. Our project was an extensive re-modeling of an old home which created challenges, but her design ideas, choice of materials and overall direction brought everything together beautifully. My only suggestion for future would be to include a bit more detailed discussion of potential costs for budgeting purposes, as we had no idea of the financial needs of a project of this size. I am certain that if we had had a firm budget she would have respected it. I recommend Kathy Kikta without reservation!

This is the 2nd time that I have hired Master Plan Interiors, Inc. The Company was hired first for a redesign of our building Lobby space and adjacent areas. She had good suggestions and listened to what we were trying to accomplish. I then hired her for remodeling 2 bathrooms at home and the project then expanded. She made a difference in making sure that the project was what we as homeowners wanted, yet at the same time making sure we were kept on track with great design. When completed it was as if we had a new home suited to our tastes. The color and finish selections are just what we wanted and needed now that we have had time to live in it.

Kathy at Master Plan Interiors was born to do it! Her mind is an encyclopedia of patterns, fabrics, design trends, and everything else decorating-related. I had the pleasure of photographing some of their completed projects and I was amazed at what a great job they did tying everything together. If you have NO idea what to do with your space...call Kathy. If you want a few pointers and suggestions...call Kathy. If you know exactly what to do with your space and only need some help coordinating the process...call Kathy. You can't go wrong.

Master Plan Interiors, Inc. did a fantastic job. Having just moved into a larger home we desperately needed some decorating help for our now somewhat bare interior. We were on a very tight budget, but Kathy was able to put some items together to work with our existing furniture to bring several rooms together and give them all a warm comfortable feel. I have worked on several projects for Kathy. You can tell from the moment she walks in that she has a sharp eye for style and design. With interior designers, you want to see someone who is put together, professional, and charming. They are going to channel those character traits into your project. Kathy is all of those and more. She is particularly talented at seeing the little detials that will completely change a room. I'll never forget when she showed me a before and after of a hallway. She had changed the arrangement of the photos.....and suddenly the hall looked like it had been completely remodeled. The whole effect was altered. Kathy also has a great eye for textures and colors. Working with her to choose the granite for her clients is fun because she really has a vision for each home and family. I've referred her to many of my clients and will continue to do so.

Master Plan Interiors with Kathy Kikta took two plain rooms and made them into one beautiful, functional family room that we love and use all the time. Friends and neighbors just rave over how beautiful the room is with its soft colors, coordinated furniture and palette and it has added great value to our home. We enjoyed working with Kathy and her professionalism, tact and up to date knowledge of current trends made her a joy to work with. So much so, that weasked her to redo our kitchen and we are so happy with the results. The colors also coordinate with the family room so our downstairs has a real professional appeal.
