I have had the pleasure of working with Melissa on several different projects over the years. These ranged from total room decorating to complete renovations. The final results on each were TOTALLY AWESOME. Melissa is friendly and professional with amazing insights. I have recommended her to several others who were just as pleased as I was.

Entire Home Re-Energized! Melissa worked her magic, redecorating and updating our entire home! Melissa designed and managed the complete renovation of two bathrooms, the kitchen, and living and dining rooms, with extraordinary window treatment and a lovely new fireplace! Our home has been revitalized with modern finishings, furniture, lighting (interior and exterior), area carpets, accessories, and artwork everywhere. Melissa knows her business; she will help you understand your own taste and realize your dreams. She is extraordinarily efficient, creative, and reasonable, and she is a truly lovely person and has fabulous style.

Mel was the interior designer and project manager for our kitchen and living-room renovation. To summarize my review, I'd highly recommend her and would have no problems hiring her again! Mel visited us at our house and patiently listened to the various designs, colors and decor that my wife and I did NOT want in our house. We really weren't sure what we "liked", but we sure did know what we didn't like! She came back with some (great) ideas along with an overall project budget. After going through the budget (which turned out to be very accurate) and discussing a few key design features, she went to work building up the design for the rest of the project. We were amazed at how fast she quickly determined our style, and everything she started bringing into our house turned out to be bang-on perfect. It didn't take long before my wife and I completely trusted her judgement, and had no problems with her picking flooring, colors, fabrics, furniture (etc) without us having to tag along and comparison shop. Her skill of identifying our taste was incredible! We worked closely together to nail down the final overall design, and we all worked closely with our contractor to bring the design to life. She project managed our renovation, using her relationships with our contractor (and other trades) to ensure our project's outcome was as per our design. It was great that she had the ability to be at the house (with my wife and I at work) and coordinate various installations or just to manage the next step of the project. As we are at work during the day, it was a relief to know that Mel could handle this responsibility and jump into action when various issues came up. We let Mel accessorize our rooms after the renovation was complete, and aside from purchasing items that looked great, she was very mindful of the overall cost of the items. She was always watching the budget (much more than we were!) and it was a relief to know she was keeping track of these details so closely. Mel was much more than a great interior designer for us. She project managed, shopped, decorated and kept us on budget for the entire renovation. My wife and I relied on her heavily for this project, and we are quite happy to say we'd do it again with her! She was very easy to get along with, and had open lines of communication throughout the project. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mel to anyone.

Melissa is awesome to deal with! Her expertise was invaluable when we were building our home. She was able to simplify the choices for us which meant that we were never overwhelmed. We are so happy with the results.

Melissa listened carefully to how we wanted our home to look and feel, and she gave her honest opinion. The interior colours she picked are ones we would have never chosen on our own...I know, we have already bought 6+ gallons of the wrong colours :-), but the colours were perfect! I will hire her again for our next project, but SOONER, rather than later.
