We were struggling with the difficulties of creating a home that was beautiful, yet still needed to be practical for raising 2 rambunctious young children. It seemed like such a difficult task, but Melanie was more than capable in meeting this challenge! She provided invaluable advice on material choices that were beautiful and timeless, yet durable enough to survive our children's playdates. To add to the challenge, we were also on a budget, and Melanie was fantastic in recommending which items in our home were worth splurging on, versus providing us more economical (yet still tasteful!) options for the rest. It has been over two years since our home was built, we get many compliments on it, we still love it, and most importantly, so far the house has held up to our children!

We were referred to Melanie Marshall at MSquared for design work for our interior home renovation project. Melanie has provided invaluable assistance with our project. She is very efficient and decisive, and her rates are reasonable. Once you get into a renovation project, the number of design decisions can be onerous and frustrating, but Melanie has made that process very smooth for us. I highly recommend Melanie.

Melanie has the most exquisite taste - which really helps if you're like me and know what you like but not how to put it together! She helps us completely decorate and plan out our basement renovation and re-did our total main floor renovation including our new kitchen, living room and dining room. She helped me pick all our new furniture as well as all the parts that go with that. She drew up all the drawings, helped me with all the essentials, including tile, flooring, paint and everything that goes along with a major renovation. Melanie was always quick to answer her calls, emails and we even did FaceTime to figure out the placement of our main floor faucet! I have worked with another designer previously and can honestly say that that was a complete waste of time and money. Working with Melanie was a pleasure and she gave 110% of her time and energy! I would heartily recommend her - don't waste your time using anyone else. We love our "new" home!!!
