Lauren Muse and her team are nothing short of excellent. We would recommend Muse Interiors in a heartbeat. We hired Lauren and her team to help my family decorate our new home and we are so happy with the results. The furniture, color scheme, and textures all flow wonderfully well. She and her team helped us create a beautiful home with high quality pieces at a variety of price points. We felt that Lauren took the time to match our own tastes - our house feels very customized to my family’s preferences and needs. The furniture she helped us select is also very functional and comfortable too - we have young kids so this was very important to us. A few highlights: - Her process is highly organized; she has a team of assistants who help keep track of details - from pricing to timelines to style details. Joanna has been working with us and we love her - her service and style are fantastic as well. - Lauren not only has a great eye but also incredible technical expertise - she and Joanna measured everything and created a plan before helping us purchase any pieces. After experience working with other interior designers, we know there is a wide range of designers out there - it was clear from the start that Lauren and her team are first-rate professionals. - Lauren also sets expectations - she is realistic about timeframes and swiftly offers alternative options if needed. As anyone attempting a home renovation or update may know, things out of the realm of control inevitably go awry. This rarely happened. If/when they did, Lauren and Joanna dealt with these matters promptly and with ease. (Ie. When a table arrived damaged with nicks/dings, we didn’t even know this had happened until well after Joanna had coordinated the prompt delivery of a new one!) Needless to say, we are extremely happy and ended up hiring Muse Interiors for additional work. They have been helping us remotely with top-notch service and grace as COVID-19 closures and setbacks have been taking place. If anyone out there is looking for design expertise (especially remotely during this strange COVID-19 era time), I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them. It’s been an enjoyable process as well!

Muse Interiors have been part of our family for the last five plus years. They have helped design our family rooms, children’s rooms, family office, master suite, basement redesign and outdoor living area. They take the time to understand goals of the home, style interests and best way to engage to ensure our objectives have been met. Project was a pleasure. Lauren is a good listener, attentive and flexible. She is very efficient, presented multiple options and really understood the look and feel we wanted to achieve for a modern farmhouse in the Hamptons. It all turned out really well and we enjoyed working with her and her team.

Lauren and Lucy worked with us over the course of several months. We were referred to them by some friends of ours whose home was spectacular. Though we anticipated that redesigning several rooms in our house would be painful, we actually had a lot of fun. They work efficiently, are open minded to your own ideas and visions, and came up with beautiful combinations of colors, fabrics, textures etc. We modernized our home with interesting twists and pieces while still maintaining a warm, inviting feel. Absolutely would recommend for small jobs and large ones. We are thrilled with the results.

We just completed a major renovation of our home and cannot say enough positive things about Lauren Muse and Muse Interiors. My husband and I were hoping to find someone with a fresh perspective whom we could trust to present us with options, including those we might not ordinarily consider and that might even be out of our comfort zone. After meeting with Lauren and seeing photos of her work, we quickly felt comfortable that she was the right person for the job. Lauren understood our style and solicited our opinions, and then took things to another level by adding her unique aesthetic and brand of creativity. The design process was thorough and organized, and it was clear that Lauren put a lot of thought into every aspect of the project. Not only did she provide us with several design plans for each room and options for every item chosen, she was also considerate of both budget and quality. Lauren has excellent resources and well-established relationships throughout the design and trade communities. Her easy, professional manner combined with grace, confidence and flawless execution make her a true design talent. The end result is a home that fits our lifestyle and feels like a reflection of who we are. Our project manager, Karin, was wonderful. She handled detailed behind the scenes work requiring a high level of organization and follow through with ease. Whether confirming finishes or paint colors, making sure upholstered items were comfortable and fabrics were perfect, providing updates on deliveries, or checking to make sure products delivered were without blemishes, no detail was overlooked. As a result, our project moved along seamlessly, the communication was great and there were no surprises. We had a lot of fun during the process and are thrilled with the results. We truly enjoyed working with Lauren and Karin and would highly recommend Muse Interiors!

We have been working with Muse Interiors for well over a year and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We have nearly fully decorated a 10,000 sq ft house together. Muse has been a pleasure to work with (and fun!) -- they are highly skilled, professional and organized, with GREAT customer service. Starting to decorate a house from scratch is not easy, yet Muse prioritized the enormous task and continues to execute beautifully and flawlessly. Lauren has a particularly great eye for design, and a great ear for her customers. Her attention to detail is excellent, and her ability to visualize what works best in a space is impressive. Along with her impressive conviction and confidence is her ability to think "outside the box" - so important as she draws on years of experience and both innate and realistic creativity. Lucy on the project management side is also talented and highly efficient. Her managerial skills re: clients and vendors is excellent. She is a enormous asset to Muse and our projects. Muse listens very well, communicates very well, "collaborates" with the customer (vs dictating) and will always provide various cost / style / color options. Muse also has an excellent and deep "bench" of talented vendors -- from custom fabricators, to electricians, to painters, to word workers, and everyone else. Their relationships are direct and seamless extensions of Muse. Muse are "solution providers" -- there is no job too big or too complicated for them. And lastly, they are patient and understanding -- they understand fussy and detail-oriented customers and continue to make you feel important and valued. They know how to make client engagement a real partnership -- and the beautiful results speak for themselves. Muse is the only way to go.

We have working with Lauren Muse and Muse Interiors for six months and they have been doing a excellent job. Lauren Muse has a great sense of color and style and has made our house beautiful, chic and functional (we have 3 kids and dog!) Lauren is a pleasure to work with and is such a warm and caring person. Lauren and her staff are very professional, extremely organized and detail orientated. They have designed rooms with totally new furniture and were flexible with using our existing furniture and items. We have worked with other decorators who just can not seem to finish a project and leave the job half done, but not Muse Interiors. They are very thoughtful about every item that they place in a room from the furniture, carpets, window treatments, art, and all accessories and they are not satisfied until a room is totally finished. Lauren puts a project manager on every project and this allows the project to move along smoothly and quickly. We are lucky to have Lucy Demmerle as our project manager! Lucy is involved in every tiny detail and is extremely easy to work with and very responsive and also has a great sense of style. We have been impressed with the high level of skill and expertise of all their vendors from the carpets, window treatments, custom made furniture and other craftspeople. I found MuseInteriors to be highly professional in the design and decoration of my new home. They were a joy to work with because of their keen knowledge of high quality materials and their ability to assess what I liked. They sought to find the perfect pieces of furniture, fixtures, color schemes, wall, window and floor treatments, and accessories to make my home beautifully suited to my taste. They were always accessible, met their deadlines, and stayed within the budget we had agreed upon. They have my highest recommendation and I am using MuseInteriors to decorate my other home in another state.

Lauren is an absolute professional who has great connections with the different trades. I have worked with a few decorators and none of them has been on top of things, mindful of budget and most importantly as creative as Lauren. She is prepared for every client meeting something I did not experience with other decorators. What I especially love is she puts a project manager on every project so you get Lauren's expertise and creativity while getting the efficiency of someone following up on every detail. We are lucky enough to have Lucy Demmerle as our project manager she is very talented in her own right and extremely organized.I would highly recommend Muse Interiors.

My husband and I found Muse Interiors on Houzz without any outside knowledge of her work. We both loved the pictures from her portfolio and contacted her on that basis. We were moving into a 5 bedroom new construction home from a NYC apartment and did not know where to begin. A year later, our home is fully furnished and decorated thanks to Lauren and her team and we could not be happier with the results. We had never worked with a designer before and joked with Lauren in the beginning that we did not understand half of her design lingo. No matter, she was able to work with us and we are now well-versed in all sorts of things we knew nothing about before. At each stage of the process Lauren solicited our thoughts on what we were looking for in a given room and then presented us with a few options. I cannot think of a single time that we even had to ask her to come back with additional options because we couldn't find one we liked, and often we liked multiple choices. This is saying something because my husband can often be picky. Lauren and her team, however, managed to nail our taste even when we had trouble describing what it was. Further, when we were between a couple of choices Lauren & team were quick to suggest that they price the two options so that we could go with the more reasonable choice. There were never any surprises on pricing or budget and the costs came in right where Lauren predicted they would. While we often followed Lauren's lead, when there were times when we felt strongly about something - for instance, we wanted a sectional in our family room even though Lauren was not sure how well it would fit - Lauren and her team worked with us to figure out a way to make it not only work, but work really well. We also decided that we wanted to use what would traditionally be the living room as an office and Lauren worked with us to create exactly the room we had in mind, including having a beautiful built-in bookcase built by her carpenter. We moved into our house 10 days after I had our 3rd child, and Lauren & Co. were extremely accommodating and took so much off of my plate in terms of being the point people on all deliveries and logistics related to furniture deliveries. Everyone who has come to our house has said they can't believe how much great decorating we have gotten done in a relatively short amount of time with three young kids underfoot. We are quick to give Lauren and her team much of the credit. Now that we are in the wind down phase of our house and just working on finishing touches, I miss having contact with Lauren and her team on a more regular basis because I truly enjoyed their company. We would recommend Muse Interiors without hesitation!
