Stacey, the owner of Nest Design Studios, is extremely responsive and responsible, adhering to every deadline, and listening carefully to every request. Stacey has a particularly fine sense of color and texture, and is great at choosing among myriad possible tiles or fabrics or paint choices! She helped us take an aging Victorian brownstone into the modern era with gorgeous paint and furniture choices, much of it selected by Stacey from great sales.

Our project included design details for a large modern apartment combination and renovation. We also had to completely furnish the 4-bedroom apartment, starting essentially from scratch. We selected Stacey Anderson/Nest Design Studios after interviewing several others. (We had first met Stacey when she staged our brownstone that we sold - after being on the market for 7 months with minimal interest, we received three competitive offers within a week.) Stacey worked wonderfully with our architect and contractor as we finalized details such as paint/wallpaper choices, hardware fixtures, marble/granite selections, design choices for built-ins, window treatments, etc. Stacey saved us an enormous amount of time and money. She was efficient and organized and planned many shopping trips, both with and without her accompanying us. She diligently sourced furniture selections and was able to find the most competitive pricing coupled with many unique pieces. She thoughtfully listened to our tastes and provided invaluable design guidance. She was extraordinarily resourceful and can locate just about anything. She even came up with a great technician to handle audio/visual complexities for the apartment (after three others had failed). She adhered to our schedule and had endless patience with our sometimes indecisiveness. We are so pleased with the end product and have received many, many compliments. I have recommended Nest Designs to others, who also have been extremely pleased. I recommend Stacey without hesitation for any design project.

Stacey Anderson has done a number of projects for us over the years ranging from re-designing a dark and depressing unused upstairs garret into a bright and cheerful bedroom for our teenage daughter, to helping us completely re-envision the layout for a master bathroom gut renovation, to identifying the right configuration of furniture for a small and awkward living room space. She is equally great with large-scale spatial design, and with smaller details of color and placement. Her fresh and creative ideas have made a huge different in all our projects, her fees are very reasonable (and she was always mindful of our budgetary limitations), and her lovely personality and easygoing approach made the whole process of doing these big projects much less stressful. She is a pleasure to work with, and we highly recommend her!

Stacey has been an amazing resource for me both when I hired her to stage my house for sale and when I moved into my new apartment. She's done an amazing job with her insights on interior design, furniture layout, purchase, designed my custom closets, and organized my entire basement. She is very resourceful and was able to come up with solutions within my budget that I am very happy with. Stacey is calm, insightful and talented. I first came to know her when she staged our Brooklyn Townhouse house-- her suggestions were inspired (e.g. moving bedrooms- creating a den in the basement).
