Melody is an exceptional interior designer! I love to cook but my 1980s kitchen, complete with a useless desk and wall phone, didn't work for how I actually live or cook. Melody was able to translate all the feelings I wanted into a space that’s both beautiful and functional. My kitchen is now classy with a charming cottage vibe that matches my Cape Cod house. One of my favorite moments in the process was when she realized we could repurpose a closet for the refrigerator, which opened up enough space for a beautiful Italian marble island. It completely changed how the room functions. There are stunning pendant lights and sexy GE Café appliances. The ‘wow factor’ continues with a hand-crafted copper backsplash, we named Julia, commissioned by a local artist. I love Melody’s creative spirit. We celebrated the completion of the kitchen with a reveal party—complete with velvet ropes, of course—so we could share this moment with family and friends.
