It is counterintuitive to think you should hire someone to decorate your personal space. After all, it's personal. It's very easy for my husband and I to see a piece of furniture and say whether we like it or not, and most of the time we're in agreement. Then you ask if you think you're capable of putting together an entire room, accessories and all, within a budget, a fairly quick turn around, and can still be married at the end of it! We hired PRIM! The first thing, and the best thing, Heather did was listen! It is so easy, and I suspect common, for a designer to look at a space and want to develop it to their taste/portfolio. Heather didn't do this. Heather has the ability to gather the building blocks of what we like and put it all together. The most input we gave her was that we liked how we felt seeing certain spaces. Be it a room at a 4 star hotel on Martha's Vineyard, or a picture in a magazine. She took the time to ask good questions, understand our personalities and life, which made it possible for her to put together two rooms that evoke timeless serenity. Those rooms would not have come together the way they did without her. Sometimes you don't know what you don't know until you have a talented expert to help clarify it. We know hiring PRIM was the right decision because we still love entering the rooms that Heather designed, and because we're still happily married!

Some designers do the same look over and over, but not Heather. Finished projects are always unique and never repetitive or cookie cutter.
