Reflections Interior Design

Marissa has helped us with several projects in our home, and we have been thrilled with all of them! She really “gets” our style, and has always been spot on with the choices she presented to us each time. Our most recent project was a complete remodel of our master suite, and we could not be happier with the finished product! She paid close attention to detail and function and really thought of every little thing. Our room/closet/bathroom is now beautifully updated and still fits with our traditional taste. My 90 year old Shaker Heights home always had a nice lay out, but it was dark and dated. I worked with Marissa Matiyasic and she brought brightness, polish, and charm into my house without straying from its integrity Marissa listened to me and then implemented a design that is beautiful, warm and livable. Her talent in selecting colors and materials, setting a mood, identifying details in decoration that I would have overlooked, and adding a bit of whimsy was a gift that made this project enjoyable and resulted in a home that I love again.

Marissa and her team impressed us with their talent and professionalism. We hired Marissa after floundering on our own for over a year. While we had many ideas, she was able to bring focus and clarity to the whole process. In other words, she was able to take this multitude of ideas we had in our heads, narrow them down, put them on paper and bring them to life. We would never have been able to do that on our own. We have a mid century modern aesthetic and she was able to blend the mid (20th) century with the 21st century to give us a perfect nod to the design of that period while keeping the final look modern and up to date. We recommend Marissa and Reflections without reservation and will use her the next time need any kind of design services.

Angela has been an absolute pleasure to work with and is a fantastic designer. She's bright, fun, experienced, kind, attentive, and listens closely to customer needs. She's made all of our projects enjoyable to work through and I look forward to her visits . Angela also has been great about working at different price points, something we worried about when we began working with a designer. What's more, Angela works hard to incorporate client needs and personality into her designs; she asks questions, takes notes, and truly considers how to make living spaces reflect the people living in them (as opposed to designing rooms that reflect only her own tastes). We feel lucky to have found Angela and have been extremely pleased with the rooms she's designed.

Marissa and her team far exceeded any expectation either my wife or I had. Her outside the box thinking, along with the ability to merge my style with my wife's would seem like an impossible task considering how different our styles are. Marissa made this seamless and our result was so much better than any expectation we had. Marissa provided so much value working with our builder to come up with a house that flows and is practical. The attention to every detail on the build, to the interior selections, to the cosmetics was meticulous. The relationships she has with the venders was so valuable. We weren't thrilled with our cabinet budget, however, Marissa was able to make in introduction to someone that built us custom cabinets with a price comparable to our budget. Truly amazing. After the project was finished, Marissa checks in and always offers ideas and comments. Honestly, this experience was incredible. I would recommend Reflections to my anyone.
