Repurposed Interiors

Design with you in mind I’m Stephanie, a New York Finger Lakes – based, California raised, interior designer and decorator. I was not always a designer decorator; my initial passion in life was health care. Working as an RN for the past 15 years has brought so much to my life, but I was drawn to take a step back and find a way to nurture my creative side. Aside from being a nurse, an artist, a wife, and a dog momma to my beautiful labs, Inara & Lilly, I felt the need to do more and make a change. So I made the leap and earned my Certificate in Interior Design through Interior Design Institute in 2020. During the pandemic we all learned something about ourselves. So my dreams of designing and decorating was put in high gear and I am more excited than ever to start designing with you. I love finding beauty in all things. My home was the first place I could invite in beauty through design and decorating. Changing little things like bringing in fresh flowers, a new house plant, tie dying a throw pillow cover, creating a new piece of wall art, moving around furniture, repurposing a lamp, and the practical choices of a couch protector to keep that pesky Labrador pet hair to a manageable level. Each of these little things makes me smile. Every day is an opportunity to love the space you live in, live your best life, and radiate love and positivity. My design philosophy starts with enhancing the features already found in your home. Through repurposing furnishings, décor, color, and spaces, I will help uncover your story as I collaborate with you to create a beautiful, collective vision for your home. My desire is to design with your budget in mind; the smallest little details of change can make the largest impact. Interior design doesn’t have to break the bank; it’s more about finding that sweet spot with use of creative color choices, space planning, finding those unique pieces of art and enhancing the pieces already in your home. I want your space to feel cozy, inviting, beautiful, loved, and inspired. A place for you to retreat from the world and wake up refreshed to begin a new day, every day.
