Rye Johnson is a Vancouver, BC-based interior designer. Her design aesthetic is eclectic and whimsical - she enjoys the challenge of bringing together unexpected shapes, materials and finishes to create environments that transport the user. Her approach to design always starts with user experience, how do you want to feel in a space? How can your mood be altered simply by walking into a room? Rye loves working within retail and hospitality to develop spaces that embody your brand. Before pursuing interior design Rye had a career in branding and marketing working on campaign strategy and planning on the agency side and in house for local brands lululmeon and Kit and Ace.
