I really enjoyed working with Heather and her team at Safferstone Interiors. Heather's contagious enthusiasm made the entire design process feel like a breeze, almost as if I had a good friend guiding me through the design of our living and dining areas. Heather was able to take my scattered ideas and turn them into a refined and sophisticated design for our space that my husband and I both love. Throughout the project, Heather and her team were consistently responsive, professional, and courteous. Without hesitation, I would eagerly choose Safferstone Interiors for any future design projects!

Heather worked with me to create a home filled with beautiful fabrics and furniture that also reflects our family's own taste and personality. Simply put, our home looks like us but so much better! She provided great advice on making the best possible use of our space and selected furniture of a scale and size that worked well in our rooms. I would have made expensive mistakes without her input. I wouldn't change anything about the choices I made with her guidance. Heather is just a lovely person who is unbelievably easy to work with and very approachable. Engaging a designer for the first time can feel a bit intimidating but Heather immediately puts you at ease. She's understanding of the need to stay on budget and makes it very easy to ask for options at varying price points. She's also super responsive and replies promptly to emails and phone calls. I can't overstate Heather's intelligence and organizational skills. She works efficiently and keeps the project moving forward. Engaging Heather was one of the wisest things I've done in the last 15 years. She's worked with us to make our home a comfortable, functional and beautiful place that our family loves.

I hired Heather to assist in a large kitchen/family room renovation which was completed in summer/fall 2022. Heather has a well attuned eye and a keen attention to detail. More than that, she listens attentively to her clients and provides suggestions and solutions. I really enjoyed working with Heather and I would say it was a real collaboration as she incorporated some ideas I had and, presented some compelling and unique materials and selections. I would highly recommend Heather to anyone looking for a thoughtful, talented designer with a fun, easy-going demeanor!

Our master bathroom is my favorite room in our house! We could not have done it without Heather’s help. She is incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with. She is a great listener and open to ideas to make your project reflect you. The design she drew was detailed and well though out. An example of this would be that when you enter the the room the first thing you see is a beautiful free standing tub with a shiplap accent wall behind it. I have to say the biggest game changer was when she said eliminate the closet. It sounds insane but what she recommended was AMAZING! Instead of having a closet a piece was built to store everything but looks like a beautiful piece of furniture. We will definitely be reaching out to Heather for future projects.

Heather has been wonderful to work with. I reached out to her after stumbling upon her Houzz page. I was just beginning to plan some house projects (redoing kitchen, family room) and feeling a little lost and overwhelmed. Heather got back to me right away and we set up a 2 hour consultation where she walked through my home, listened to my ideas, gave me suggestions, resources, paint colors, and advice. Her taste is impeccable and her advice has been invaluable so far in making decisions for our projects. Going forward, Heather has offered a package of consulting hours so that I can continue to use her as a resource throughout the project - which takes a layer of stress off & reassures me that I will love the final product. It has been a pleasure working with her!

Heather is fantastic to work with and a pleasure to get to know. We spent a lot of time together and had a lot of back and forth because I am very picky as well as cost-conscious. Boy, was she able to deliver and I now have rooms in my house that I love to look at and am happy to be in. Every person who has come to my home since we finished our projects has commented on how wonderful the space looks. It is something I am proud of now. Heather has great taste and an ability to understand her clients and take their needs and interests into account. I can't wait to work with her again!

I hired Heather to help us make design choices during a remodel and have used her services a few times since (the August 2009 is when we started working with her), so that she has now worked on our master suite, kitchen, half bath, dining room, living room, and two children's bedrooms. Despite the dog and kids and our general slackness, the house looks like grownups with taste live here. Heather managed to combine family pieces, custom items, and bargains to create spaces that are both gorgeous and comfortable.

We have worked with Heather over the course of the last five years on various house projects -- re-design of a living room, now a bathroom and basement renovation and other various projects. Each step of the way, Heather has been fun, helpful and creative and impeccably organized and flawless in her execution of the project. She is a great listener and really works with you within your budget to achieve your decorating goals. We can't say enough great things!

Heather is a true pleasure to work with, and I've always been happy with the end result. She gets my style, is able to work with what I already have, and has a great eye for finding pieces to add to a room. She isn't rigid in her approach at all.
