We worked with Sara to choose colors and overall design for a renovation of our home. Working with her was a joy! She is smart, kind, resourceful and creative. We love the results of our project and this is, in large part, because of Sara's talent. She made some great suggestions for how we could use our space differently, found small improvements to the layout that made huge difference, connected us with a lighting professional that was wonderful, helped us find furniture and make smart decisions about color, fabric, patterns, and designed the color palette that gets rave reviews from all of our visitors. I found Sara on Houzz when I looking for help to get a semi-major remodel underway, I'd never undertaking such a big project and was frankly paralyzed. Sara got us unstuck and gave us just the direction and guidance we needed to get started. We are doing a major remodel on our home and had gotten to a point of decision fatigue, right when we had to make decisions that would be most visible in the years to come. We also had a lot of questions in the area of "does this sound crazy.....?" Sara was very helpful with kitchen design, and then a huge help again in narrowing down bathroom decisions. She met us at the warehouse to pick out slabs and really helped keep us focused, and in the second case she brought us an appropriately narrowed set of samples with just enough but not overwhelming amount of decision making left for us. She struck a great balance between listening to our ideas while providing helpful advice and suggestions. She was flexible with our crazy time schedules, and is a great communicator. I would definitely recommend her services, and hope to work with her again soon.

Sara is a godsend to tired, stressed out parents. She transformed our condo into a welcoming, functional home. During our first meeting she rearranged the furniture in our living room and immediately created a better flow and more room for the kids to play. She recommended accent chairs, a round dining room table, and additional storage for toys so it works great for the kids daily but is easily tidied when adults come over. She designed an amazing built-in for our awkward office nook. It now works as a library, home office, and family command center when before it was just a dumping ground. She created a soothing palette of blue, green, and gray Benjamin Moore paint colors for our condo. She suggested painting the ceilings of our bedrooms a color instead of white. I love waking up and seeing blue. She placed of artwork around our condo and designed a visually stunning gallery wall at the end of the hall. She helped pick a new gray fabric for our sleeper sofa that was in bad need of reupholstering. She saved me because I was leaning towards a warm cognac brown which in hindsight would have looked awful. At our last session she helped me pick new lighting for our living room so it is no longer a dark cave at night. Also I had a wall shelf that was awkwardly floating by itself. Using a small chest and garden stool I had lying around she created a layered vignette that looks like something out of a magazine. I can't recommend Sara enough. I am so grateful for everything she has done for our family and our home this year.

I worked with Sara a couple of times in 2015. Although we were not in the market for serious assistance, we needed some guidance and direction for utilizing the space in our 1913 Craftsman, and we did not want to buy many new pieces. Sara has great ideas, and she's easy to work with. She provided me with some sparks of creativity that helped us to figure out ways to change our existing furniture layout, and she was helpful at encouraging me "let go" of old nostalgic pieces that simply weren't working in our space. To the extent we need help with our home in the future, Sara's on our list!

Sara has been fantastic to work with. She is well connected in the industry, so is able to recommend high quality painters, carpenters, wallpapers etc. We had her help us do a cosmetic remodel on a 5000 sf house...pick out new color for the hardwoods, new paint colors and furniture. She has excellent but practical taste. She is thoughtful regarding budget and repurposing. We will definitely use her services again.

We have used Sara's expertise twice now. For our 1300sf condo, she helped us choose a small palate of vibrant colors that held their own despite the bright natural light we had each day. Her help with color & art & furniture placement was invaluable. When we moved into our 1500sf townhouse, Sara was our first choice for help with all these elements again. She helped us with colors that allowed our colorful art art to have a fabulous background that truly popped everything we put on the walls.. Her idea of an art wall to camouflage our TV was brilliant. Our Seattle wall is stunning. The guest bedroom is like a resort. We are SO happy. Hopefully we won't, but if we have a chance at a THIRD home, we call Sara yet again. Her taste is impeccable, & her advice is spot on -- every time.

We hired Sara to help us remodel our home in the Green Lake neighborhood. When we moved into our house eleven years ago, there were three of us. Now with a family of five, we found the space didn’t work quite the way we needed it to. We hired Sara to help us squeeze as much functionality as possible out of every room in the house.
