About Us

Deborah Javier, principal and owner of Shae Interiors, graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, earning both an AAS and BFA in Interior Design. Prior to starting her own boutique Interior Design Firm, Deborah worked for a number of New York City and Hudson Valley Interior Design firms. As a licensed and accredited Interior Designer, Deborah has built an extensive portfolio of residential, commercial, hospitality and institutional projects throughout New York, Southern Florida and the East coast.

Deborah of Shae Interiors was a great help in updating and creating a more coordinated design flow for the main level of our home. She helped us choose new family room furniture and rug, dining chairs, and also coordinated the reupholstery of our kitchen island chairs. Deborah took the time to understand our style and seamlessly worked our special furniture keepsakes into her design. We couldn't be more pleased with the end result. It is without hesitation that we recommend Shae Interiors. Deborah is professional, creative, and very pleasant to work with!

We hired Shaeinteriors to perform a complete redeux of our kitchen; relocation and design of a laundry room; and design of a full pantry to complement our new gourmet kitchen. It was a huge, complicated job and Deborah facilitated the entire process with the contractor, cabinet manufacturers, furniture/appliance vendors, etc. She envisioned the space, prepared the layout/drawings, and put together a time line that ensured the least impact to our family during the renovation. She was very insightful and her designs, down to the custom walnut butcher block island, the reclaimed wood wrap around mantle, and the 10ft’ vintage pantry doors she sourced from an 18th century French home...are now all elements that make our new space memorable. We asked for a space that was functional and unique..and Deborah delivered to an impressive scale. We are so pleased by Shaeinteriors and look forward to what else she can do for us on our next project!
