Solstice Design LLC has offered premier Interior Design services from initial design consultation to project completion. Solstice Design is passionate in the field of interior design and believes the luxury of interior design should be found in everyone's place of residents. Janet Raslavicus earned her Interior Design degree in Boston, MA and has obtained her expertise in the design industry while working in the Greater Boston area, New York City, and Seattle-WA. Settling into her home town area, she has built her business from repeat clients and referrals. Janet Raslavicus has worked for many Architectural-Interior Design firms, which allowed her to gain the knowledge and expertise she carries with her today. Having the knowledge of both fields gives her the ability to communicate with Architects and Builders and allows for a much needed collaboration. It is my belief that having the ability to visualize both architectural design and interior design, sets us apart from many designers. We assist our client by bringing their visions to life. We've used Janet for several projects in our home, including our master bath renovation and finished basement. She also helped us when we first moved in with paint colors, window treatments, furniture, etc. Our new home had a totally different style from our former, more traditional home. It was larger and had very open spaces. She helped us to create such a warm and livable space. She even designed a wine cellar for us. She has such an eye for design -- we'd use her again in a heartbeat for our next project (if there is another one!).

Janet is amazingly talented and a class act. She goes above and beyond to help make your dreams come true. She is talented, fair and has a great eye for detail. She has helped us with our master bedroom and TV room. I would highly recommend her for any decorating needs you may have from simply new furniture, draperies, etc to full on redesigns.

Principal Janet Raslavicus did a wonderful job for us. Her design was attentive to our wishes, and she was creative in execution. Janet also made great design choices for all of the fixtures and other design elements, while keeping us on budget and on time. Importantly, Janet stayed on top of things throughout construction and supervised to make sure all of the details were properly handled by the contractors. She is a delight to work with, and her collegial interactions with the contractors were evident. I will happily use Solstice Design for all of my future projects.

We have worked with Janet on a few projects as part of renovating our farm house in Stratham, NH, circa 1728. We did everything from a master bedroom suite, kitchen expansion and remodel, bedrooms and common areas. Janet brings lot of talent and skills to the table from design, layout, colors, styles and someone friendly and professional to review ideas and concepts to get feedback. Janet has provided construction designs that we mutually reviewed with our contractor which is helpful to confirm that we are on the same page with the contractor and he understood our desires with the design and layout elements that Janet added to the projects. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Janet to anyone looking for help with renovations or remodeling projects!

Janet decorated my dining room. It is a small space that looks right into the kitchen, so it had to flow from one space to the other. I initially questioned the colors, but I can't say how happy I am that I went with her original choices. The room looks elegant on its own, but doesn't look over the top compared to the kitchen. The paint she chose for the crown molding really makes the room pop. My overall experience with Janet was very positive. She was easy to work with and cheerful. She kept budget needs into consideration. I highly recommend Solstice Design!

I used Solstice Design for a remodel on two floors of my house. The work was going to be drastically different from what we had and I wasn't able to picture the final product, which was why I decided to go with a company like Solstice Design. Not only did I get a visual of what the remodel would look like, but I also got an accurate plan to go by for future decision-making during the process of our addition. Janet was professional but friendly, detail oriented, and extremely helpful during the process. I would highly recommend her services to others.

Solstice Design designed our salon. Janet's eye for detail was able to take what I wanted and create a salon I would not have been able to design myself but exactly what I wanted. Janet picked colors that complimented the space, yet expanded on it to create a comfortable yet spacious feeling. It's upscale without feeling stuffy. It's modern without feeling cold. We couldn't be happier and our customers love the look.

Commented: What kind of tile is on the back wall behond the tub? Is it beveled ?This is a quilted ceramic white wall tile with a metal accent. All individually installed!
