Our goal is simple: we design interiors for happier and healthier living. We partner with each Client to discern their unique needs and desires in order to create one-of-a-kind spaces. Hi, we are Sova Studio, a New York City-based full-service interior architecture and design firm focused on creating bespoke interiors for Clients globally. All of our designers have formal design education from some of the best programs in the U.S. and Europe. Our first priority is the well-being of our Clients in the spaces we create. Simply put, we eliminate the bad (replace potentially harmful materials and finishes with safe alternatives), and introduce the good (design with nature-based elements and sensibilities). We opt for natural materials, patterns, colors, and textures, believing in the power of biophilic design. We are adaptable to our Clients’ preferences, but our fundamental aesthetic could be defined as natural modern simplicity. At Sova Studio we work with projects of varying scopes and sizes, at all stages of design, be it new-built, renovation or anything in-between. As a full-service studio, we are involved from start to completion, from conceptual design to turn-key installation. Understanding that everyone prefers a different style of collaboration, we are happy to partner with each client individually to decide on the exact terms of our collaboration. About Ewa Podgorska (Founder and Principal) Ewa [pronounced EV-ah] is Poland-born and educated in Belgium, Czech Republic and the United States. She effortlessly blends her architecture, art and design background to craft personalized design experiences for her Clients. Her practice is innately based on nature-inspired design, incorporating features that reconnect us with nature (think wood, stone, natural fabrics, patterns and textures), Ewa holds a Masters of Interior Architecture Degree from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and has over 10 years of professional New York-based interior design experience. Prior to starting Sova Studio, Ewa lead numerous high-end residential, commercial and hospitality projects across the country and abroad. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Interior Design Department of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City.
