Shonali was an obvious choice for us when we started renovating our house 3 yrs back. Apart from the fact that our asthetic sensibility is very similar, it is very comforting that shonali and her team always worked within the budget that we discussed. She made sure we kept the bigger picture in mind and kept a close watch on how we distributed our budget across the project. This taken care of, I was happy to focus on the creative aspects of the house with her. She is very collaborative and always takes a lot of inputs. Her work doesn't end with handing over the house, she's always available for some friendly advice on decor. Her team is very professional and patient with changes and follow-ups. They stick to timelines and are very transparent in their dealings We would highly recommend shonali and her team.

Studio Essencia is known for her contemporary & high end Design being stylish, functional & comfortable at the same time. Their Execution Team is flexible which wud deliver in the most constraint timeline. Keeping in mind with finishing & simultaneously being economical which is commendable. Her simple approach & straight-forwardness make things very easy/comfortable to work. She is one of the best Interior designer to work with & Understand her clients to the fullest.

The best thing we did for our house was to get Shonali on-board ten years ago. In the first meeting itself we hit it off and realised that we are on the same wavelength, and have the same design sensibilities. We love white, and an uncluttered minimalist approach to design with straight lines giving an impression of space, which is so difficult in a Mumbai flat. And that is what we got. Our design brief was executed and how. She went above and beyond our expectations. the highlight of the house was the bar. Since we love art as well as hosting our friends, we wanted a bar that looked like art by day and could be used efficiently for socialising by night. Shonali designed a lovely closed bar that showcases our interest in art. Unless you open the bar, you don't event realise what it is. it simply looks like an installation mounted on the wall. The other good thing is the adherence to schedule, Shonali’s team is punctual and they finished the work within the given timelines making it convenient for us and allowed us to plan our life accordingly. She delivered as promised. No wonder then, that when we wanted to do up our home again last year, it was Shonali who we turned to again. She has done our house twice now, and we love every bit of it. We can just go on and on about our rooms and other elements, all I would like to say is thank you Shonali for making our house a home that we love. PS. Her work doesn’t just end after the house is done, she keeps in touch and helps us place every art that we end up buying.

Shonali is an excellent designer and architect with very high standards of professionalism. Her design style is contemporary and minimalistic, her attention to details is amazing. She is extremely hard working and talented designer. From the beginning she was involved in our home re-decoration - right from conceptualisation stage of the the project to the final execution. Her team works relentlessly to meet the deadline and continue to offer services even post hand over. For our house she has done an excellent job and all my friends and visitors love the work she has done and continues to ask for her reference. We are super happy with her work and wish her the best!
