Where to begin? My husband and I finally purchased our "forever home" after 5 moves in 6 years. We arrived in our new home with little furniture. Talea, a truly lovely and beautiful person, tackled everything from measuring and selecting furniture layout for some tricky spaces, to recommending upholstery and color schemes, to ensuring all pieces were laid correctly on delivery day. She even managed to tastefully incorporate our existing pieces! It could not have been easier or more pleasant. We look forward to partnering on upcoming projects in the new future! Thank you Talea!

Talea is one of those rare designers that truly listens to her clients from the first visit, through the installation phase. Always pushes the envelope of design as well, showing her clients an edge never thought possible. A pleasure to work with and I truly recommend her for all of your home furnishing needs.

I met Talea at Walter E. Smithe when I called to make an appointment with a designer. I came in and we instantly connected. We moved into our new home in Vernon Hills in 2007. We were furnishing practically the whole house. 3 bedrooms, a kitchen/family room, downstairs office, basement and living room. Talea took time to get to know us and what our taste was, and had an eye for exactly what we were looking for. She took so much time with us to sit go on every couch, see any and all fabrics that would coordinate with every room and looked through almost every book possible to find the perfect piece for each and every room in my home. She has an amazing eye for what will work for you and my husband and I loved working with her and look forward to furnishing more areas in our home in the future. Talea is a perfectionist, someone who makes sure you are happy from start to finish. It was out utmost pleasure to be able to work on every project with her, she made it her mission to make our house a home!! I would highly recommend anyone looking to furnish their home to work with Talea!!

I really like my designer Talea Bloom. She is very nice, friendly, attentive, not pushy. She became a friend to me while furnishing our new house. She makes it simple. She has a very good eye for color coordination and style. She goes beyond just selling the furniture from the store, like involving other services and art agents if necessary. She tells you not to get something if she thinks it can be better. I love that she can come to the house and help arrange the furniture and accessories. Would recommend without hesitation!

Talea helped us with a complete redesign of our family room including color schemes, layout, and furniture selection. She was a delight to work with and her selections for color and layout were fabulous. I would definitely seek our her expertise the next time we purchase furniture. Talea was extremely helpful with furniture and decorating ideas for out family room! She is personable and talented! She really listens to your needs and incorporates your tastes in her designs.

Had a wonderful experience working with Talea! She came out to the house, took specific room measurements, and helped to plan out furniture placement on a computer design system. This assured us that the pieces we selected for those rooms fit accordingly. She was also very skilled and patient in selection of the upholstery fabrics and furniture finishes, making sure that everything blended well together, and that we were 100% happy with all of the choices. Talea Bloom is an exceptional Interior Designer with a strick attention to detail. Her fun, energetic, caring, astute personality makes the process enjoyable.
