Malka and her team were excellent throughout our project and beyond. We had a clear idea of the general style and look we were going for to complete a major basement/laundry room overhaul, along with superficial changes (paint, light fixtures, wallpaper, furniture) throughout the house and the custom furnishing of our master bedroom. Malka did a great job of (1) finding unexpected solutions and sources to get us the things we knew we wanted and (2) pushing us beyond our own "ideas" to help us explore - and ultimately buy or have custom-made - things we didn't know we would love until they were in our home. Importantly, once Malka got a feel for our general likes and dislikes, she was a constant source of reference, inspiration and ideas. She responded quickly to questions, effectively resources materials and custom furnishings (despite massive, pandemic-related shipping delays) and was particularly helpful at sourcing unexpected accents and artwork to help add character to the different rooms. It was a pleasure to work on this project with someone as flexible as Malka, who made sure we got what we wanted, while also making sure there we several surprises we never would have thought of on our own.

She really understood my style and was able to find me great pieces that I would have never found on my own. She was able to take my vision and ideas and turn them into reality. I also love that she knew when to spend money on something and when you can spend less for something just as effective. She has a beautiful eye and is truly a pleasure to deal with!

Malka is a miracle worker. We called her just a few weeks prior to the holidays with the near impossible task of designing our living room foyer, hallway, dining area, and main hallway, all in advance of fast approaching holidays and festivities we had already scheduled. Malka showed up with her laptop and her can-do attitude and executed amazingly. Malka is a great communicator and really appreciates your aesthetic preferences, all while guiding you with excellent suggestions. she is extremely efficient and reasonably priced. Of course when it was time to to do our bedrooms on a much more relaxed schedule, we called Think Chic Interiors and the results were astonishing yet again. We couldn’t imagine doing any major design project with anyone else.

I fell in love with Malka's work after seeing it on Houzz and hired her to help me design and project manage renovations (new kitchen counters, back splash, lighting, restaining hardwood floors throughout) and furnish/decorate my new home in Katonah. I couldn't be happier with the results! I live in Manhattan and needed someone who could help me manage the day to day of the renovations of our house upstate and she took care of it all from working with the contractors to handling furniture deliveries. The process all went fairly quickly because Malka quickly caught on to my style and had such great ideas for both decor and renovations. Whenever I move to a new home, I will definitely be using Malka again!

I was so happy when I saw a recommendation for Malka's work. Malka has a wonderful eye for design and color, but almost more importantly, listens to what her clients wants and needs are and tailors her focus accordingly. Malka researched tirelessly to ensure we were happy with the design concepts she created and with her warm personality, it was easy to collaborate through the decision making process. We started this project during a busy time of the year, but it did not stop Malka from reaching the goals we set to complete our project on time. Malka is everything you can wish for in an interior decorator: attentive, responsible, responsive, impeccable taste, fair. In other words, the consummate professional. I chose Malka after having interviewed several Westchester and Connecticut based interior decorators. By far, Malka stood out. Not only was her rate structure the most transparent and favorable to the customer, but she struck me as someone who would be easy to work with, especially given my unique circumstances. I had already done a ton of research on furnishings, down to the fabrics, and had a very specific vision of what I wanted. Malka was more than happy to bring my vision to life and to complement the pieces I had chosen with her own suggestions. Together, we decorated the living and dining rooms, entryway, and did all the window treatments in my new home. The final product is magnificent. While I had very concrete ideas of what I wanted, I have no doubt that had I given Malka free reign to decorate my home as she saw fit, the end result would have been equally beautiful. Malka also always looked out for me, trying to find cost-saving opportunities. I doubt the other candidates I had interviewed would have done the same. In sum, if you want your home decorated beautifully and work with a professional who will work with whatever your budget is and has a fantastic attitude about it, I recommend you hire Malka.

I worked with Malka at Think Chic to renovate two bathrooms and a hallway. My family and I could not be happier with the outcome. Each bathroom is beautiful and unique in design, and I hardly had to think about anything. I gave Malka a color scheme and she came back with gorgeous designs. She also handled everything during the renovation including: meeting with the architect and contractor, scheduling installations, find vendors, and choosing the products. I will definitely work with Malka and Think Chic on my next project. I can't wait.

I couldn't have asked for a more attentive decorator. Malka and I were in contact several times a day throughout my projects - Not only did she help in the actual design of a new kitchen and several bathrooms, she also worked long and hard with me selecting colors, tiles, and appliances. She has so many contacts in this industry, we always found the hard-to-find items we were looking for and never settled for "plan b". A true pleasure!
