Kay did an outstanding job in helping me transform my townhouse from a typical bachelor-pad to an upscale, sophisticated, modern living space. She listened patiently to my poorly conceived notions of the 'look' I wanted, then she gave these notions form and brought them to reality. At each step, she listened to and responded to my feedback, working closely with my aesthetic tastes. She took a lot of initiative in finding accessories, picking out paint colors and fabrics, designing drapes, suggesting art work, and arranging decorative compositions. She was present every step of the way, evening helping to hang the art work in precisely defined locations (who knew there was such a science to this??). Kay also brought such positive energy and enthusiasm to every meeting. She was so much fun to work with - I'm almost sorry that we finished our work together. I will definitely call on her in the future and recommend her highly to friends.

I have been working with Kay for over a year and she continues to exceed my expectations. She is an expert in color, fabric & furniture selection as well as all aspects of space planning. Kay has decorated and/or remodeled our entire home.. She has an uncanny feel for the needs and tastes of her clients and the outcome is always right on.

Kay has helped us with several redecorating projects in our home and coach house. We usually have a limited budget. Kay has provided wonderful designs and done a remarkable job finding high quality, yet affordable materials and contractors to complete the work. We couldn't be more pleased with the results.

My first project with this company, Transformations by Kay was to update my home on a budget. She picked incredible blinds for my sun room and kitchen in addition to having my bathroom cabinets and cabinets under the island in my kitchen painted. Amazing decorator. Mary Pat English

Kay transformed my kitchen far exceeding our expectations, She listened to what my husband and I both wanted and came up with a design that made us both excited and happy as we have very opposite tastes. We shared Houzz photos of different designs that we liked and Kay took our idea book that we saved on Houzz and made a fabulous design. Our kitchen has a WOW factor now. Previously our kitchen was always the always center of action but was really small and cramped for the size of our house. We rarely used our dining room. We took out the walls creating a huge kitchen with a killer counter area that seats 6, we have a separate prep area where we keep our grilling supplies and outside party supplies. We now have a wine bar and refrigerator .Our appliances include a 48" kitchen aid dual fuel stove and a Bosch dishwasher that is so quiet we don't know it's running. Kay picked out wonderful colors that blend with the granite and quartz counters and the rest of the house. We remained in our budget and Kay worked with our contractor coming up with ideas that made the most use of our space including a pantry that has a refrigerator and freezer in it. We couldn't be happier and would recommend Transformations by Kay to anyone wanting a make over of any room in their homes.

Professional and easy to work with. Consulted with me to understand what I wanted (and got) as well as make suggestions that I used. A beautiful result that I feel is mine, but better! Kay is terrific!
