I love working with Chuck. He's creative and inventive and I, like everyone else he works with think the world of him.

We hired Chuck for a major renovation our of kitchen and master bedroom as well as an overhaul of the rest of the house (paint/ carpeting/ window treatments, etc.). Chuck is truly an amazing designer. He was very easy to work with, a great listener, creative, hired a great team of contractors, and was an effective general manager of the overall project. We are very, very pleased with the results and have garnered nothing but compliments from everyone who has seen our home.

We have been working with Chuck at Work in Progress for over 10 years. He is amazing!! He is able to walk into a space and figure out the best way to remodel or redecorate it and we have been thrilled with every room he has done for us. It is to the point where we don't do anything without asking his opinion. Chuck has managed construction for us as well as remodeling in almost every room - kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, dens, office and living room. He has beautiful taste but is also cost conscious and will tell you when to spend more money and when it is not worth it. He is also very decisive which we like. We can't recommend him highly enough!

Chuck possesses one of the most important qualities in a designer: listening. He gets to know his clients, their needs, desires, and habits. He learns how the space will be used and creates rooms with a focus on equal parts form and function. Upgrading the kitchen in our small loft meant maximizing every square inch and utilizing an aesthetic that fit in with our condo's industrial style. He exceeded our expectations in every possible way. He is honest, responsive and downright fun to work with!

Chick is great. He was always available when I needed a consultation. He was respectful and hard-working. He also came up with fabulous ideas that made our kitchen perfect.

Chuck did a fantastic job with both his design and the quality of the contractors he suggested. He was prompt and very upbeat. It was a pleasure to work with him.

Chuck is a pleasure to work with. His vision for my project, fully renovating an outdated 8500 + square foot house, was exceptional. He is very professional and was instrumental in coordinating the many aspects of the renovation. He supplied all the drawing for the project. He helped me select everything from the bath and kitchen fixtures, lighting, tiles, flooring, cabinetry, paint color, appliances, counter tops, wall coverings, fabrics, custom window treatments and bedding, to furniture for every room in the house. He worked within the budget targets and was able to meet deadlines. His support documentation for his invoicing was very organized. I could not have undertaken this project without his guidance and support. As an added bonus, he made the whole process fun. Most importantly, my family and I are extremely happy with the way the project turned out.

He has a firm understanding of the construction process, and an amazing understanding of the clients desires and goals (sometimes it seems that he has a better grip of their desires then they do!) From architectural layout through color selection, cabinetry selections, and everything in between, all the way through furniture selection and installation, Chuck is on top of it.
