Eric Strauss Sculptor

Eric can turn an old piece of metal into a beautiful piece of art. He is more artistic than anyone we know, and he puts everything he has into making his clients happy. He is an excellent teacher of metal crafting, very patient and let's the student learn through doing while giving them helpful directions. We have seen many breathtaking (small up to very large sized) pieces created in Eric's workshop, all of them truly amazing. Thank you, Eric, for our lovely hat rack that you helped up make in class, we had so much fun and love rack! You have given us a whole new respect for metal crafting (Wow! Hard work).

We have commissioned Eric Srauss several times. over the last 10 years. He has made a firelog holder and fireplace doors for our log cabin in North Georgia among other items.. Both were done with amazing attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship. Eric is not only an amazing artist but an extremely talented metal sculptor who is fun to work with. He listens to our ideas and creates amazingly beautiful functional pieces of art. We have enjoyed his work so much that we have asked him to design a metal.vanity to go in a guest bath in a condo on the intercoastal waterway in Savannah that we are remodeling. Knowing how much we love the water and flora of the low country,, I know that he is the perfect person to create something very special for that space.

Eric Strauss Sculptor and metalsmith provides a valuable blend of artistry and craftsmanship for my custom home projects. He has designed and fabricated spiral staircases, fireplace gates, architectural accents for several of my projects. Most recently a custom bar that was the finishing touch to a major remodel.
