Schultz Ornamental Iron

I found Schultz Iron on google searching for an interior iron railing. I was changing flooring & my railing was not to code. Even tho I am planning to sell soon, I didn’t want a cheap off the shelf railing. Schultz is about an 1 1/2 hours away from me but he was more willing to help. Making a choice of what I wanted and with some guidance, I ended up with a great railing. Since I was without a railing, he made a concerted effort to get it to me ASAP. My friends and relatives were relieved. I’m giving everyone their name.

I found this company on Houzz and called for some basic information. They were so helpful and responsive I decided to use them to make a handrail for my remodeled stairway. Their work is beautiful, and their customer service is excellent. I would highly recommend this company.

O...M...G! I can't begin to praise this company enough. When someone returns your call IMMEDIATELY and shows up early for every appointment, you start to think you're dreaming! THEN, when they help you design your dream Frank Lloyd Wright style railing, and come in at the same price as those who couldn't get to you for a couple of months..... it's a no brainer. Today was the installation and I wept when they left. Our railing is soooooo beautiful. PLEASE give Emil and his crew a try. You will find it a rewarding experience.

So I want to thank the them for the great job they did. We really love the iron railing. The guys were really nice and professional. They came out and showed me options, I had a little bit of an idea of what I wanted but they really help bring it all together. As they were working on the railing Emil would text me and send me pictures, keeping me updated. Also making other recommendations, which we approved and really appreciated. My father suggested the Schultz Ornamental Iron company because he had an interior railing done over 50 years ago and was very satisfied. After two generations of mastery iron working, the family owned business has done it again. I had a front deck railing done on my log home, they custom designed the perfect style for my deck! I doodled an idea on a piece of paper and the craftsman went to work. They kept me apprised of the process each step of the project sending pictures and even videos of the iron being bent and polished. The new railing is certainly a beautiful focal point on my log home and I look forward to more projects with Schultz Ornamental Iron and their master craftsmen.

Wanted to have something unique for our home and in searching for ideas to replace our indoor stair banister/railing, Schultz Ornamental was recommended. I had an idea of a design, but not able to actually draw on paper my idea. After our initial meeting and expressing what I wanted, they were able to conceptualize exactly what I wanted and created a beautiful piece of what I consider, art. It is unique and absolutely beautiful. The experience as a whole was great as they are professional, quick, and personable. The truly enjoy what they do and also take great pride in their product. I think they were just excited as I was with the finished product. Thanks guys, we love it!

In looking into replacing our 1980's dark wood spindled railing, we contacted 3 companies specializing in custom wrought iron work. Emil from Schultz Ornamental Iron contacted responded immediately. He listened to what we were interested in doing, reviewed some pics I emailed and set up an in-home appointment for the following week. When the father and son team arrived- which I referred to as Emil #3 & #4, they were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. My husband and I were completely unfamiliar with the process of fabricating/installation of an iron rail but they set us at ease and made us feel comfortable. The Emils' spent valuable time with us and were able to guide us to make informed decisions concerning size, color, design, etc taking the time to educate us and explain the steps from start to finish. They also discussed the various ways to attach the rail and what would be best for our given situation. Based on our pictures, they were able to provide us with a time frame and estimate. Since we would also be needing some woodworking done for this job- they recommended a carpenter! (We ended up hiring Rob. He is excellent and on his 3rd project for us!!) Emil kept in contact with me throughout the planning and fabricating stages and answered my many questions with consideration, professionalism and expertise. His patience was also a plus :) I never hesitated asking questions and reaching out for information. Emil 3 & 4 came out again for the final fitting before powder coating and coordinated the appointment so Rob was also here. Rob had to address the need of the extra support necessary for the weight of the wrought iron. Today- their 3rd visit- our new railing was installed!! We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Schultz Ornamental Iron for your project. BTW- the initial estimation they gave us- NEVER changed. This was a pleasant surprise. Thanks #3 & #4. Emil, his son and friend refinished my old railing and designed, made and installed a new railing on my circular outside steps. They did a beautiful job!
