We waited years to have our small galley kitchen renovated. A friend recommended Cameo, and we were hooked as soon as we met their representative Tammy. She was so knowledgeable about what we would needed for our project, had great design ideas, and answered all of our questions with great patience. Tammy stayed in touch with us throughout the project and addressed any concerns we had in a timely manner. Mike, a Cameo project manager, came to the house on a regular basis to check the quality and progress of the job. The products Cameo recommends are very high grade. Most of all, Cameo's remodeling staff are terrific. They are skilled at what they do, respectful to the homeowners, and make knowledgeable recommendations where needed. Each day, the crew cleaned up after themselves and once a week a garbage truck collected all waste. We are so very pleased with our beautiful new, functional kitchen! Thanks Cameo!

Cameo Kitchens completed our kitchen remodel project and did an excellent job. The attention to detail is meticulous and the project was finished smoothly, on budget and on time. The cabinet and counter installation were perfect! I have to search to find the seam for the granite, and the cabinets and finishing touches look amazing. Any questions that I had were answered very quickly and communications with the project manager and designer about the project design and modification requests were very clear and responsive. It was a great experience and I highly recommend them!

We couldn't be more pleased with our kitchen remodel. Two of our neighbors had recommended Cameo, after thorough vetting and great experiences. Our designer, Virginia, quickly picked up on the look and style we like and was able to guide us to making great choices of cabinets, counters, floor, and backsplash. We would never have had such a positive result without her help. We were home for the first four days of the project and were then out of town for the following four weeks. They hit the ground running, with five trucks here the second day. We met with the project crew and the electrician the first two days and Virginia made sure we had addressed all decisions before we left. A couple of minor questions came up while we were gone ; she sent us photos and we were easily able to weigh in via email. We returned home after a month away to a stunning kitchen. The crew did an outstanding craftsman-like job, clearly taking pride in their work. And they cleaned up so everything was pristine when we returned. We met with Virginia our first morning back and a crew member came out the following morning to make a few minor adjustments. So we got a beautiful kitchen, completed on time, and with seriously no hassle on our part. And they stand by their work. The neighbors who originally recommended them are still raving, noting that they take care of any little thing that comes up even well after the job is completed. We are immensely pleased with everything about Cameo!

Though in the end, we decided to go with another company due to cost considerations, I wanted to leave a good review for Cameo. My experience with Virginia, their designer, was top-notch. She is great to work with, and I know that her kitchen would have been beautiful. We were engaged in several remodeling projects at once, however, and simply had to balance costs between them all. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a high-end kitchen renovation with excellent customer service.

As an architect we have had the pleasure to work with Cameo Kitchens on dozens of occasions over many years. Projects have ranged from modest kitchen and baths to very elaborate and complex custom cabinet orders. Cameo has always given us excellent support, regardless of the job size. In addition to their design insights, George, Karl and their staff also provide excellent craftsmanship and customer service.

I will start by saying that after an exhaustive search for a contractor to take on our kitchen remodel we had come to the conclusion that no one would meet our expectations and that we would be better off selling our home and buying somewhere else. We interviewed at least 6 contractors and each one takes time, has a cheesy sales pitch and wants you to sign a contract the day the give their pitch, with many unanswered questions and a ton of ambiguity; that didn’t work for me. I was, in fact, at the point of discussing an offer on another home with the seller when a friend of mine mentioned that Cameo had done his mother in laws kitchen, and then subsequently did 8 other kitchens on her street. That certainly got my attention and I looked into Cameo, they don’t advertise and for whatever reason didn’t come across my radar when I spent the better part of a year researching kitchen remodels. I contacted Cameo and made it clear to the person answering the phone that my expectations were likely unreasonable and that I was OCD picky about things, and closed by telling her up front that what they thought was acceptable in terms of quality, I would likely not. I wanted to set the expectations up front so if we entered into a contract they would know how picky and unreasonable I was from the beginning… Enter Tammy Clark, our kitchen designer from Cameo. After our first phone conversation she agreed to meet with us, despite my warning of being difficult to deal with. I will say that Tammy has the patience of a kindergarten teacher and is in no way interested in a quick sale or telling you what you want to hear to get you to sign a contract. In fact, they are booked out several months which I thought was another positive sign – and they are worth the wait! Tammy was realistic in her promises, exceeded every expectation, and was happy to offer references. After the first in-person meeting we set some timelines and a date for a first meeting at her place to go over the initial plan. Our house is only 5 years old when we started this but the kitchen was builder grade and our goal was to recreate a true chefs kitchen and not have it look as if we had remodeled; it was important to us to have the kitchen flow with the house and appear as if it were always here. Not an easy undertaking when taking out walls and removing windows, replacing exterior walls, etc. After a handful of meetings to tweak the plan (not because there was anything wrong with the plan, but because each time I wanted something slightly different.) we finalized and started the work on picking out the little things you don’t think about – faucets, hardware, light switch locations, light fixtures, etc. All the while Tammy assisted along the way, often responding to emails and texts immediately even at 10 PM – this woman never rests! Tammy stayed in contact at a frequency that I was comfortable with and was engaged throughout the project. You won’t get a sales group with Cameo that then turn their unrealistic plans over to a construction group for execution. They run an operation that has the synchrony of an orchestra, each person having their task and every employee working collaboratively to achieve customer satisfaction. My job foreman Luis is a true artisan and I can tell you he runs a tight ship and doesn’t allow quality escapes. These people are not your typical contractors. They show up in force every day by 7:00 am, in a clean uniform, marked vans, ready to work. They are respectful of the displacement this is on a family, work quickly and cleanly and are adaptable to changes in plans that happen in a project of this scope. Neighbors were surprised at just how clean the job site was left every day. Tammy committed to a 6 week timeline for her group to complete the project (minus any delays in the flooring which they didn’t do – I would have had them do it but they don’t do hardwood. Instead I used another contractor that they partner with on occasion and Cameo took care of all of the schedule coordination.) I mentioned to a number of people that it was going to take 6 weeks and got many offers for wagers that they would not meet the timeline and that I should expect any contractor to go over by at least 50%. Cameo was complete with their work in 5 weeks and 4 days and the finished product was / is INCREDIBLE. The workmanship is second to none, they don’t take any shortcuts and in fact I felt like they did more than what I had paid for. This was a huge project and there isn’t a single thing that I would say Cameo could have done any better. I am still amazed at the quality and honesty of this contractor and as I stated earlier, I am not an easy person to satisfy. Payment structure is also different than most contractors in that there aren’t “progress payments.” Instead it was 1/3 down, 1/3 when cabinets are delivered, and the remaining 1/3 at final inspection. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate the whole team at Cameo, especially Tammy, Luis, and George who were all an intricate part of my project. My only regret is that Cameo no longer does bathrooms, if they did I would have a contract with them now to do my master bath!

We spent roughly two years getting several estimates for our kitchen remodel. It was a tough decision! Time and time again, when speaking to the managers and staff from the appliance stores, flooring companies and countertop suppliers they raved about Cameo stating they are “flawless” “the best” and “ have outstanding customer service”……. this is what finalized our decision. We knew we’d be spending a lot of money on this project (no matter who we hired) and Cameo stood out with their referrals and their professionalism during the estimate. Now that our kitchen is completed, I can’t tell you how happy I am that we chose Cameo! We love our kitchen and enjoy it every day. Tammy, our designer from Cameo, was very helpful, professional and patient during the planning process. Cameo’s workers arrived on time every morning, genuinely seemed happy to be working on our kitchen and each employee really seemed to care that we were satisfied with every aspect of the project. Their attention to detail was impressive and it’s clear that they have a meticulous plan in place to get the job done right the first time and ON time. We had white inset style cabinets installed and they are beautiful. We are very happy with the quality of the cabinets from Honeybrook. We also had a make up air damper installed (per code) for our commercial range and hood. A few of the other companies didn’t seem to understand how to install the make up air damper per code but Cameo said “no problem” and took care of it without a glitch. We had the cabinets brought up to the ceiling, interior and under cabinet lights installed and new commercial appliances installed. They were very careful to protect our floors (even though we were having them refinished) and they did a great job controlling the dirt and dust with plastic partitions around the kitchen. After the work was completed there were a few minor things that needed attention and they were very responsive and came right out to fix things. If you’re considering Cameo for your kitchen remodel I give them my highest recommendation!!

Cameo Kitchens, Inc provided Kitchen design services and renovation. I can not say enough about the management of our project. The communication among all members of our team was excellent which gave us confidence that we chose the right company. The project went smoothly primarily because the team including workers were professional and respectful. Our designer, Tammy was readily available through out the project, for any advice in selecting granite, tile, lighting, etc. The oversight of floor, granite fabricator and appliance dealer were excellent. Cameo dealt with scheduling/problems in a timely manner. Our onsite manager, Gary was meticulous that he foresaw and suggested things that we hadn't considered. It's that kind of service that reassures you that the company wants you to be happy. The quality of the Honeybrook cabinetry is exquisite. The installation of the cabinets and tile work were excellent. We would highly recommend Cameo Kitchens, Inc.

Cameo Kitchens just completed a total kitchen renovation on our 1945 Arlington Colonial and they did an outstanding job! They arrived on time every morning and there was always progress being made. They even finished the project several days ahead of schedule which was outstanding. There workers were great to work with every step of the way. A huge plus is they always left the job site clean and neat which is great when your family wants to visit the space to see the daily progress. I would not hesitate to use the again on our next kitchen project.

I couldn't be happier with my beautiful kitchen that was recently completed by Cameo Kitchens! Michael Macklin was outstanding! Mike is very personable, a true professional, and takes great pride in his work. From the consultation to the final walk through, every detail was considered. We met with Mike over a year before the project started. I had some ideas as to how I envisioned the kitchen. The job would involve gutting our current kitchen, possibly removing a pantry, relocating some walls and possibly relocating windows. A priority for us was to make the kitchen feel larger. Mike hit the drawing board and presented isometric drawings shortly after we met. From there we tweaked the design until it was perfect. He was patient with my revisions, and once we signed the contract, provided me deadlines months in advance for material selections, etc.. Throughout the process, I continued to send Mike numerous photos, asked many design questions and solicited opinions. He explored every idea that I presented. Together we designed a kitchen that we absolutely love! We're pleased with the cabinets made by Honey Brook. There were some minor bubbles in the finish, etc.. and Mike did not hesitate to send any item back that was not perfect. The crew was friendly, neat, and hardworking. I spoke to many of them daily and they offered opinions when asked. I felt very comfortable with them in my home and often left to run errands. I hired Pedro and John to install our old kitchen cabinets in our garage and they did a great job at a good price. The plumbing and electric contractors were also excellent. Cameo's pricing is set. There are no unexpected fees or charges after the contract is signed unless you change your mind on a selection. We did run into some unforeseen issues with a makeup air damper and passing inspection. Cameo spent many hours resolving this issue, and we were not charged. Cameo Kitchens is like a well-oiled machine. Projects begin and end on time. The company has been around for many years and they know what they are doing. Customer satisfaction is a top priority. I feel confident that if I have any issues in the future with our kitchen, Cameo will promptly take care of them. We're very satisfied with the quality of the work that they completed for us and highly recommend them for kitchen remodels and cabinetry design.
