Creative Kitchen Designs

I want to start by saying that my business lives and dies by reviews like this and I don’t take this commentary lightly or take any pleasure in providing negative reviews but this needs to be said. I was referred to Creative Kitchen Designs by a colleague of mine and I was initially very excited when visiting their showroom and meeting with Suzanne. Their products looked beautiful and I will say that ours are no exception, from a visual standpoint. Suzanne was initially very responsive. She took measurements and gave us a contract very quickly. The price was a little high but in todays economic situation with the pricing of lumber, we were willing to bite the bullet. Wes, the installer, was friendly and worked very hard during the install. Install was scheduled efficiently and that seemed to go great. The issues arose when dealing with Suzanne, during any sort of conflict. Someone from the CKD team has been out to my home 4 times more than is necessary because they haven’t measured properly or had to adjust our drawers, since they didn’t slide properly. Suzanne’s inability to accept any sort of blame and her extreme lack of professionalism has been nothing short of appalling. She has made racial comments towards my contractors and discussed my colleagues projects during our interactions, in a negative manner. Even when catching her in lies and calling out her unprofessional nature, she has passed the buck or become very aggressive, which in turn brought me to my boiling point. I will never use CKD or recommend them to another person. I would exercise extreme caution in utilizing this company. I’ve read a lot of Doug being wonderful and I wish we had him instead of the headache that we’ve had with Suzanne. Looks are on point with this company but optics aren’t everything. If things don’t work right or you have to deal with unprofessionalism. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if my experience is anything someone else is looking to avoid.

Suzanne did an amazing job designing my kitchen. Her communicated with me through the process was great and I got exactly what I wanted. My kitchen looks fantastic!

My wife and I are extremely happy with the whole experience. The level of professionalism shown from the beginning having our interest as a family as the only priority is the most gratifying experience we have ever had. When we tried to explain what we wanted to accomplish, Doug stepped in with his expertise. He helped us accomplish all that we wanted and saved us money with a great design. He kept us well informed throughout the process. Delays due to COVID and the "supply chain" issues were dealt promptly. We are looking forward to our next home upgrade. We are not just happy with the quality of work and professionalism, we are also grateful for the optimization of our resources that resulted in an optimum house value increase and a very happy family! I have never been more pleased with the professionalism, the honesty, the respectfulness of a company, all their employees and General contractor. So courteous and just want to please. Our decorator recommended Creative Kitchen Designs as she had worked with them in the past. My husband and I had already conferred with another local cabinet supplier but a huge factor in selecting to work with Doug and Creative Kitchen Designs is that their product is manufactured right here, locally, in Orlando. The fact that the cabinets are manufactured locally allowed for several custom sizes to fit our storage needs and all without any "fillers". It's great knowing that local employees were contributing to the remodel of our 35 year old kitchen. As the process continued, Doug made us feel as though we were his " biggest client", providing constant one on one interaction and always answering our calls or emails timely. The finished kitchen truly is more than we expected. Most days, I can't believe the gorgeous, new, custom kitchen is ours ! And the fee for this beautiful kitchen was very reasonable, especially with all custom work. Outstanding product and service !!!!

When we got to the point when we decided we wanted to remodel our kitchen in a contemporary way, nobody else in our area even had the materials and means to provide us with the contemporary designs for our kitchen that we wanted. We were very happy when we found that CKD were close to where we lived, and could meet our needs. Doug Smith (our designer) outlined the entire project for us, and when we met, we were even more delighted to discover that he was not only going to help design the kitchen, but also had the means to produce and manufacture everything without having to involve a third party. He was always punctual, and we never had to reschedule. He was very detail oriented and wouldn't waver in the convictions he made abut the kitchen designs. He was more than happy to alter the designs when our thoughts about certain aspects of the kitchen changed, or when they had to be changed. In addition, the project was completed on time, with the contemporary style that we were looking for, with all the details and finishes that we desired. Overall the quality of the work was impeccable and we would gladly work with CKD again.

Our family has used Creative Kitchens for over 18 years. We remodeled our kitchen in 2006. Everything I dreamed of for my new kitchen Doug Smith made happen. Everyone who enters our home is amazed! We could not be happier with both the design and the functionality. The workmanship is outstanding. And the work was completed on time and on budget! In addition to my gorgeous kitchen Creative Kitchens did our Master Bathroom. After 11 years we are still very happy with the design and quality of the cabinets and large counter top. They have retained their beauty and still look new. My daughter hired Doug Smith for her kitchen remodel in 1997.. He made a difficult job so much more pleasant by his willingness to let her take her time on the design. He never rushed her and let her make changes until she was completely satisfied with the design. I enjoyed going with her to the Design Center and always felt welcomed to look at all the available options in the store and in their catalogs. When we decided to remodel years later it was an easy decision! To work with someone like Doug Smith was a delight. He understood what was important to our family. And whenever we called him he quickly returned the call. A really great Company.

They designed and implemented unique custom kitchen and bathroom cabinets for our contemporary home giving it a very high end finish. They also designed and installed floating cabinets flanking our wall mounted fireplace. Installation was efficient and extremely professional. Installers were very knowledgeable and accommodating; they even cleaned up after themselves!

I hired Creative Kitchen Design for my cabinets and countertops in my kitchen and both bathrooms. My husband and I couldn't have been more happy. Per Doug Smiths direction, my beautiful white cabinets was the perfect backdrop for the exotic granite. Doug is the most professional, creative, innovative and real world designer I have ever worked with. The quality and craftsmanship of Ventura Cabients is second to none!

Doug provided outstanding service during my kitchen remodel. He came out to my house several times and provided me with multiple options for the design and layout. He was very helpful during the process of picking out colors, counter tops and cabinet hardware as well. He is very punctual and professional. Doug made himself available to answer my questions, even on weekends or after hours. I highly recommend Creative kitchen Designs.
