My kitchen was outdated and in need of a new look. It lacked color and most importantly, functionality. I sought out Jackson Lumber of No. Andover, MA for help. I worked with Janet Maglia who created the kitchen of my dreams. Janet was instrumental in helping me decide on a color scheme, cabinets, and countertops. I gave Janet my wish list starting with cabinet colors, cabinet style, & desire for functionality. She delivered on all. She promised me my kitchen would look different and I would not recognize it and boy was she right. As her design on paper came to life, and the kitchen transformed into reality, I know this is what I waited for. There was finally a light and airy feel to the kitchen space. It was no longer dull and dark. I now had plenty of space to cook and bake and to store all my equipment. Even details like cabinet hardware were matched perfectly. When the project was complete, I knew I had the kitchen of my dreams. And Janet made it all happen with her ideas an experience. Janet listened to my needs and understood what I wanted, creating a spectacular space that I will enjoy for years to come.

Following the initial meeting at the showroom, Santa came to our home to takes measurements and get a better sense of how to incorporate our lifestyle into the new kitchen design. Santa provided us with multiple floor plans to choose from each unique in form and function. Her plans where so detailed that the contractors relied on the plans to accurately complete their work in the kitchen. In closing we are so happy with how our kitchen fits our lifestyle. I was recommended Jackson Kitchen by my insurance contractor after I had a water issue in my kitchen which I need to replace my cabinets. After placing our order, one of the pieces of cabinets did not get delivered although the delivery team had marked off they delivered it. I was told it was ordered and made but somehow the manufacturer lost it and it would need to be rebuilt. Also one of the pieces that did get delivered was chipped up and not to my satisfaction so I asked to have a new one sent, which they were more than willing to do. I was told they were both re-ordered on the same day only to have one piece come a few weeks later without the other one. After asking and inquiring several times I was not able to get an answer out of my rep. Turns out only 1 piece was ordered that day and my insurance contractor had to physically go to their store to ask about it since he was also not getting any replies from them and that’s when he was told it was never ordered. They still did not mention anything about it to me. I was just told “sorry” numerous times and that it wasn’t Jackson’s fault, but that of their manufacturers. Even after receiving all the cabinets and getting them installed, my Jackson rep never bothered to follow up to see if I was satisfied. Not even a Thank you for choosing Jackson. Overall terrible experience with horrible customer service, at least from my rep I was dealing with. Will not be recommending.

Janet Magia was excellent. We made the decision to completely renovate our kitchen. I was anxious about it because I don't have an eye for design. Janet made the decision making process easy, she helped us stay within our budget, and she designed a beautiful, functional kitchen for our family. If we had issues or questions during the process she was easy to contact and very responsive. I love my new dream kitchen.

We had our first kitchen designed by Jackson in 1987 and decided to use the company again. It turned out to be a smart decision. Janet Maglia was our designer and her experience was evident in all aspects of the project, including knowledge of materials, design style and in meeting our expectations. Janet was easy to work with, kept us from making novice mistakes, and proposed an elegant design that makes the small kitchen space seem larger and more professional than ever. Thanks Janet!

Excellent experience working with Jackson kitchens! If you're contemplating a kitchen remodel, absolutely go in and talk with them. I can personally recommend Janet M. She was attentive to our input on wants and needs in our kitchen (a 100% gut and remodel), thoughtful in her recommendations on what was possible and why, punctual for all appointments and meetings, flexible to schedule, and exceptionally knowledgeable about the cabinet makers they carry. She provided a well thought-out set of initial plans and then worked with us on revisions based on our feedback.

I went to Jackson Kitchen Designs to design a kitchen island. My experience with them was very positive. My designer, Janet was a pleasure to work with. She offered many suggestions and ideas while giving me the time to make my own decisions. She returned all my calls promptly and scheduled all our meetings to my convenience. As a matter of fact, after I signed off on a final design, I changed my mind. Janet was very willing to meet and redesign until I was 100% happy and satisfied with the final plan. Jackson's installer , Wally is excellent. It was clear by his professionalism that he is very experienced in his field. He is very meticulous , takes his time and overall just a very nice guy. I love my kitchen island and am very pleased with the service from Jackson Kitchen Designs. I would definitely recommend them.
