I am so glad that a friend suggested Boston Building Resources when I was planning to replace my kitchen cabinets. Kim was a pleasure to work with! He had great suggestions for the cabinet and countertop combinations and was able to show me several options that were within my budget. I received a nice discount on the cabinets and his work was offered free of charge...you can't beat that!

Kim is amazing and I can't recommend him highly enough. We immediately knew after our first design meeting with him that he really understood what we were looking for in terms of kitchen layout and style. Kim was really helpful with suggestions but never pushed his ideas onto us. He revised the design several times for us as our ideas evolved and the stove size increased. We had little to no anxiety about this project as he took care of all the details and was able to recommended stone yards and countertop fabricators. We went with Candlelight for the cabinets and they seem extremely well built. We are thrilled with how it all turned out. Its a beautiful, functional space that fits in with the rest of our old victorian home. Thank you Kim! Who knew kitchen renovations could actually be fun! Kim was great to work with! He did a great job helping us turn our vision for a new kitchen into a terrific design, helped us sort through options for cabinets and counters, recommended several contractors (one of whom we eventually selected), and followed through to make sure everything was in good order at the conclusion of the project. We'd highly recommend him!

I met with many producers and cabinet providers before selecting Kim, from big box (Ikea and Home Depot) to builder-grade such as Kraftmaid to more custom options like Henrybuilt. I ultimately chose Boston Building Resources due to Kim's expertise, the product line's quality (Green materials, 3/4" Ply, Waterborne paint), and competitive pricing. Kim showed me the range of options within the semi-custom product line he sells, and helped me create a feature set which optimizes the way my wife and I use the kitchen. Kim is an artist and visionary at heart and was able to creatively jive with my vision. Post delivery, we experienced minor issues with the producer which were promptly resolved both by BBR and the producer.

After watching my daughter remodel her kitchen through a big box store I was a bit nervous about working on my house. But Kim took the burden and stress out of remodeling and made it fun! His patience with my sometimes indecisive ideas resulted in a kitchen I have no regrets about. He was always quick to respond to my questions and his expertise made me confident about the designs. My kitchen is a bit small with an awkward shape but Kim's design made the space feel open and cohesive.

A friend who had worked with Kim urged me to talk with him--and I am so glad I did! He is patient, listens, explains things well, stays upbeat and encouraging, answers all questions clearly, makes specific recommendations of his own when the customer becomes flustered or overwhelmed and really needs help. Two different friends accompanied me on two different trips to help me ask the right questions; each, on leaving the shop with me, said (completely independently of each other, "It's so nice to work with someone who so obviously knows what he is talk about and clearly loves his job.": Amen to that. Kim is a treasure. He made more than one site visit to my house to double check things or to reassure me--pretty much above and beyond, or so it seemed to me. I absolutely loved working with him, and my new kitchen is beautiful!

Kim was incredibly patient and meticulous in helping me plan my cabinetry to ensure I had a fully functioning kitchen. He helped to select finishes and fittings and was very flexible when we had to make some last minute changes. Additionally, he helped specify and cost out countertops. There were a fair number of unknown unknowns, but he just rolled with it. Thanks to Kim, I have my dream kitchen!

I highly recommend Kim Eifrid for kitchen remodel and design. My experience was with a renovation project for a new kitchen in a fixer upper we just bought. We needed to reconfigure the space which included taking down walls. We absolutely love the result. Kim was always available, calm and very responsive throughout the process. We liked him so much we used him a second time to design a wet bar in a new family room. He has great ideas about not just a beautiful kitchen but a functional one. He has a good working relationship with Yale appliance which made getting the correct appliances seamless. He also handled the logistics of our counter installation. Boston Builder's Resource has top of the line cabinets and Kim has great relationships working with the cabinet companies. When our cabinets arrived my contractor did not have any issues with what was ordered and it was an easy install for a big kitchen. I give him my highest recommendation.

We used Kim to renovate our kitchen; I really enjoyed working with him. He was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and conscientious. He has great ideas but was flexible when we were resolute. I love the quality of the cabinets (Candlelight). Everything was on time and on budget. The manufacturer forgot a tiny corner piece and both Kim and the manufacturer were so apologetic and rushed it to us (it was not a big deal). I couldn't be happier and would recommend Kim without hesitation.
