The best decision we made when deciding to remodel our master bathroom was to hire New Angle Design. They worked with us from start to finish, providing their expertise and knowledge, from creating numerous detailed plans from which to choose, helping us select fixtures, cabinets, flooring, lighting, coordinating with our contractor, and generally just being there to offer guidance and useful suggestions at every step. Ruth, Elizabeth and Katie were amazing to work with during our kitchen remodel and addition of a master bathroom. They saw the space we had and transformed it into something we never dreamed it would be. Our home is so much more functional for our family. The design and finishes are beautiful. We did not know our style when we started the process, but they patiently guided us and we love every aspect of our house now. We used New Angle to design a kitchen renovation. Ruth, and especially Elisabeth who governed our project were extremely helpful with design insite. They proposed 8 different kitchen design concepts to choose from and then helped us tweek the designs and ideas to get to the final plan. New Angle also visited vendors with us helping to pick out flooring, granite, appliances, lighting and tile. Additionally they assisted with choosing paint colors. New Angle also provided layout and electrical drawings which our contractor complimented as being better than what he usually got. The help they gave us throughout the project was priceless. We would not have come up with some of the design concepts on our own.

The very small house we bought in 2013 (in Bloomfield) was built 150 years ago and needed lots of work. We hired general contractors for most of the work - roof, floors, wiring, plumbing, etc. - but wanted to treat the kitchen/dining room separately and with more care. Several contractors appraised the space and offered estimates to repair/replace cabinets and remove a (non-load bearing) wall, but none really looked at it with a fresh eye and some thought about design and overall improvements. Until we met the women at New Angle. They reimagined the (15' x 30') space from the walls out and the floor up and produced a design that dramatically improved the usability and aesthetics. We hired them and were delightedly with the process and the results. They offered many options - cabinets, floor, backsplash, paint colors, lighting fixtures, appliances - while advocating several based on their experience with their own or other clients' kitchens. They took my requests seriously and followed through on all commitments in terms of both price and time required. We love the result. It's been 5 years since the work was completed, and we would not have done anything differently. Visitors rave about it even after several visits!

My husband I worked with Elisabeth of New Angle Design for our master bathroom renovation and were extremely pleased with the entire experience! Working together during a global pandemic naturally presented some challenges but Elisabeth was incredibly creative with ways to connect and work together virtually. She was extremely generous with both her time and talents and was able to provide multiple recommendations for us that completely aligned with our collective style. Elisabeth was always responsive and communicative with various vendors and advocated on our behalf when a few unforeseen circumstances arose with supplies (a natural occurrence with any project!), all of which were remedied. The completed design is gorgeous, fresh, and timeless and we are so happy with the renovation and the construction team that she recommended to us! We look forward to future home projects and consulting with New Angle Design again - the entire team is knowledgeable, progressive, creative, and accommodating. I highly recommend working with them for home renovation projects!

In the past 6 years I have used New Angle Design for 3 home remodels: my kitchen/laundry room/powder room; master bathroom/bedroom; and "kid's" bathroom. All 3 stand out as unique designs, excellent use of space and top quality materials. Ruth and Elisabeth helped me narrow down choices and make good decisions that blend well with the rest of the house. They have an artistic eye and are very professional and pleasant to work with. All of the rooms are beautiful and are major improvements to my home and my life.

New Angle Design helped with our recent kitchen remodel. The last remodel was done 23 years ago so it was time for an update. The designers made a few suggestions to enhance the workspace in the kitchen and helped select the cabinets, backsplash, appliances, floor, and room colors. We are very pleased with the outcome and feel like we have a beautiful and functional kitchen. We got a bid from another designer but felt they were more “cookie cutter.” Ruth at New Angle Design made suggestions that really made sense from a practical standpoint (making sure we had adequate cabinet space for everything) and also made the kitchen look like it belongs in the 2020’s. Ruth also helped us find a contractor to do the work and worked along side the contractor from the beginning to the end. We could not be more pleased with our new kitchen and highly recommend New Angle Design.

I can not say enough good things about working with Ruth and Elisabeth. They listened to my ideas and designed spaces that exceeded my imagination. They recommended a contractor who was skillful, reliable and professional throughout the process. They checked in frequently to make sure all work was done correctly.

Ruth is amazing. She not only listens to her clients needs and wishes, she has the vision and ability to create the unthinkable to someone not in the design business. She is up on the latest materials and trends and will give her honest opinion. Her demeanor reminds you of Joanna Gaines (of HGTV) -- very pleasant and thoughtful. In short, she is able to execute flawlessly and within budget. We love the bathroom she designed for us and we are working with her now on an office rehab and a new walk-in closet.
