Ed Parsons and his skilled team were meticulous in addressing every issue on our complete kitchen/main level remodel-- we knew we were in good hands with such an experienced contractor. I'm a retired interior designer and my husband is a retired architect so we're very picky about all the 'on time, on budget' details. They 100% met our expectations, delivering a stunning kitchen/main level remodel project, which is warm, functional and inviting. Ed is the contractor that interior designers refer to other interior designers for work on their own homes-- he's that good. We're looking forward to having him return to work on an accessible/aging in place Primary bathroom soon.

Ed and his crew have done extensive remodeling in our home, including the kitchen, master bath, powder room, laundry room, staircase, and upstairs guest bath. The quality of craftsmanship is beyond reproach. Every member of his crew, as well as all his subcontractors, were polite, professional, and eager to get every detail right. Parsons completed a full master bath and closet remodel. We went from the typical mid 90's 'jacuzzi tub and small closet' bathroom to a showcase gorgeous and luxurious space. They worked with us to extend into the attic without doing a roof rebuild. We now have a large shower, extended vanity, pantry with drawers and shelves, thoughtful lighting, and the most beautiful cabinetry throughout -- drawers, doors, pillars, and shoe shelves. The tile work is exquisite. In all places, the attention to detail shows. The team is experienced, talented, conscientious, and works well together. The work area was sectioned off and cleaned up daily. And they made friends with the dogs. Working with them was a pleasure. Needless to say, we recommend Parsons. So much so that we've now contracted for kitchen updates too.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Parsons Custom Remodel to transform our home, and the experience was nothing short of excellent. We hired Ed Parsons and crew for a complete kitchen and master bath remodel. We are very pleased with the results. They had a foreman on site daily to oversee work and Ed stopped by frequently to check on progress. He was very helpful in assisting us with material selection. He listened to our ideas and offered his own as well. The cabinetry work built in his own shop is outstanding. The crew was professional, easy to work with and on time. All inspections were passed. Any issues that arose were dealt with in a timely and satisfactory manner. We would definitely use this company again.

Poorly designed cabinets and terrible finish work. I would strongly advise shopping around and taking a look at better established shops.

There is not enough room here for me to tell you how easy and seamless our project was with Ed. First off, his communication is exceptional. He provides you with a schedule, and it really does not change. (Did a complete remodel of our kitchen and main floor, and it was on track from A to Z, even during the pandemic.) His crew shows up ON TIME. Every. Single. Day. They are courteous and efficient. (If you are lucky enough to have John provide finish work, you will not be disappointed.) They will tell you what works, what doesn't, all the while honoring your design and decisions. The subcontractors he selects (i.e. counter tops) are top notch, and you can see that he has solid relationships with everyone he uses. We requested numerous bids, and his was very competitive. Side note: after we hired him, we were amazed at how many neighbors who saw his lawn sign stopped by to say "Oh, we had Ed do a project at our house - isn't he wonderful?" Yes, yes he is. Thanks Ed.

This is the second major project that Parsons has performed for us. The first was an addition to our home and this time a complete (to the studs) kitchen remodel. We entered the process with great trepidation but were put immediately at ease. We were given a time line and daily/weekly updates as to what would happen and when. It was clear that much pre-project planning occurred as it all proceeded like clock work. Everyone who entered our home was respectful and attentive to our needs. The final product is impressive. The skill, attention to detail and craftsmanship are unrivaled. We can't wait to start our next project with them. Worth every penny!

A radio commercial runs in the Portland area that asks "where do I find a reliable contractor?". I didn't know either, but lucked out when I picked Ed Parsons out of three booths I found at a home show. I hired him based on his prompt reply to my inquiry, his fast response for a get-acquainted appt, and reasonable fee. And what I happily discovered when working with Ed was a man who really listened to what I wanted in an accessible bathroom, who offered helpful options & input, and who had an answer that was invariably "Of course". When I was researching Houzz and reading reviews, I wasn't terribly interested in the specifics of a particular project; I just wanted to know how the process worked with the crew I would hire. I'm happy to report the following observations about this fabulous crew: long-time reliable (and very courteous) employees always on time at 7:30 who take direction well and protect all surfaces and clean up daily; Ed himself appeared onsite 2-3x a week; Tim is a can-and-will-do-anything amazing "finish carpenter"; Ed makes his own custom cabinets and practically has them built before the site is demo'd, saving the customer from the nightmare of waiting for them; and Parsons came in on time and on budget with unbelievably no mistakes. No callbacks for re-do's. Our accessible master bath gut job was 6 weeks long and we were comfortable enough with the crew to be on vacation for part of that time. Ed answers calls within minutes. And thank you, Ed, for the extras you threw in for free! We'll be seeing you again in 2018 for the next projects we talked about. I can't identify with homeowners who have unhappy remodeling stories ... and six months later my bathroom still thrills me!

Parsons Remodeling & Cabinets, Inc. has done two remodeling projects for me. The first was a complete kitchen remodel down to the studs in 2014 and the second was a bathroom remodel done this year. Ed Parsons and his experienced personnel were professional, on time, cleaned up work areas each day, and stayed on schedule. They do quality work and work with you to help you achieve your desired outcome while keeping the budget in mind. I would highly recommend Parsons to anyone considering a remodeling job.

I truly enjoyed working with everyone at Parsons Remodeling & Cabinets. Communication is always important in any project, and Ed and his crew kept things running smoothly, checking for changes, giving idea input, following through in a timely manner and staying on schedule - keeping me informed all the way. I love my remodel - the kitchen, the open floor plan, the flooring, the window replacement and changes, the new ceilings, the siding, and the new barn doors. Ed and his excellent crew remodeled our master bathroom and did some freshening of the master bedroom as well. In addition, the home's front door was replaced and painted.The work was completed in March, 2017 and was done in the five week time frame Ed gave us before work started. Tim, Mark and the other workers were polite, conscientious and neat. We were sorry to say goodbye when the work was finished! In fact, we recently contracted for more work to be done by Parsons Custom Remodeling.

Fully remodeling a home is a daunting task and can be a little frightening. We wanted to fully modernize our kitchen in our split-level home, which was built in 1972, and while we had a few ideas, we really didn’t know how to approach it. My wife’s aunt recently had her kitchen remodeled by Parson’s Custom Remodeling and Cabinets and asked my wife, Kim, to stop by and take a look at his work. Kim was fully impressed with what she saw and asked for Ed’s number. She called him shortly thereafter and scheduled an in-home appointment for a few days later. Ed was right on time; not a minute late. Ed looked at the kitchen, made notes, and came up with a preliminary idea and fully explained his vision for our custom kitchen. Ed spent a good hour with us and promised to deliver fully rendered photo drawings of the kitchen a few days later to show us, which he did faithfully. We were extremely impressed with what we saw, added a few things on our own, and signed the contract. He took us shopping for tile and other choices for the remodel. Even during the construction, Ed always insisted we were happy with the progress. The kitchen came out beyond our wildest dreams, and the project was fully completed on time and within budget. Ed’s crews are highly motivated and talented carpenters; always on-time, they were polite, and they always quickly answered our questions and concerns during the remodel. Also, Ed’s sub-contractors are top-notch companies. The tile work in our kitchen is fantastic, as are Ed’s own custom-made cherry cabinets which we chose. Since the kitchen remodel, we’ve called him back and had him fully remodel our bathrooms, and once again, we’re extremely pleased with his craftsmanship and that of his sub-contractors. The construction areas during both remodels were fully cleaned at the end of each work day. My wife and I both highly recommend Parson’s Custom Remodeling and Cabinets for your home remodeling project. You’ll fully appreciate his honesty, integrity and craftsmanship.

Parsons Remodeling did an excellent job in a complete re-do of our home. Our kitchen and bathrooms were gutted and beautiful cherry wood custom cabinets with quartz counter tops were installed. All new appliances in kitchen, Wall removed in masterbath to create a wonderful walk in shower. Excellent job on all tile work. Replaced all flooring in home (new carpet, wood & tile) Replaced all existing light fixtures in home also adding and moving some. New electrical switches & plates, new hardware on all doors and entire inside of home repainted. Ed Parsons coordinated everything so well that everything was done on schedule with project finished within the time frame he had given us at the beginning. All of his team were skilled, pleasant and easy to work with. We now have a beautiful "new home" thanks to E and his company. We definitely recommend Parsons Remodeling to others.

We hired Parsons Custom Remodeling & Cabinets to do a major kitchen remodel for us. The job included opening up an existing wall, replacing and refinishing the ceiling, all new lighting, refinishing the walls and hardwood floors, removing and replacing all cabinets and the island with new custom built cabinets, new quartz counter tops and tile back splash, all new trim, around floors and windows, crown molding above the cabinets and installing new appliances. The best recommendation that we can give Parsons Custom Remodeling & Cabinets is that when we do our next project, we will be calling them. everyone was very professional, prompt and knowledgeable. Our remodel flowed smoothly from beginning to end. There were no surprises, every question was answered and the whole crew did their job as if our house was their house.

Parson's Remodeling completed a full remodel of my kitchen, including upgrading of lighting throughout the downstairs, and replacement of the fireplace mantle. I found the crew to be very a very respectful and hardworking team. Parsons made it clear that it was a priority that I was not only happy with the remodel work, but happy with the condition that they left my home each day. I would definitely work with Parsons on my next project.

I recently had a complete kitchen remodel and Ed and his team did an absolutely terrific job. They provided great customer service and everyone was always really helpful. Assistance and guidance for all of the kitchen selections was extremely helpful. The work proceeded on schedule and when they told me something would get done it was always done. The work was the highest quality, and it was clear to me throughout they worked to and had the highest of expectations. My new kitchen looks absolutely lovely, I was so excited to see the end product and everything is perfect. I am delighted with my new kitchen and would highly recommend Parsons Custom Remodeling.

Two bathrooms were torn down to the studs, then drywall, custom cabinets, tile and fixtures were installed. Three bedrooms were painted and carpeted and new electrical fixtures were installed. All rooms, including an extra-large office that wasn't otherwise remodeled, got new wood trim and new doors. Ed was extremely helpful in deciding the scope of the project. He let me know what were good ideas and what weren't. He was invaluable in helping pick out the materials and fixtures. He crew and subs were very friendly and skilled. They always asked me about questions that came up, but their advice was really all I needed. The custom cabinets are so beautiful I find myself making excuses to open a drawer just to enjoy the workmanship. There were no surprise extra charges. On the contrary, he insisted on doing things in rooms he wasn't remodeling just because he thought I should have it done and he did them at no expense to me. I was very apprehensive about starting such a big project, never having hired a remodeling contractor. But I couldn't be happier with the experience and the results.

We hired Ed Parsons to do a complete remodel of our nearly 40 year old main bathroom (down to the studs). We were not totally comfortable with making major decisions on what new products and styles should be replacing our old and familiar items. Ed escorted us through every stage and provided all the suppliers and contacts needed. Schedules were made and always kept during the month long remodel. All employees and sub-contractors were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They cleaned up every day and always spoke highly of working for Ed. The finished product is just what we wanted and envisioned. We never heard of Parsons Remodeling before we hired them and even though the estimated cost was higher than others, we made a great decision with no regrets.

Ed provided the personal attention and expertise for designing and then overhauling our 3 bathrooms, updating them from 20 years ago to today. The project started on time and finished on time. He has a professional and polite crew, and the bathrooms look great, of course. Parsons is more expensive than some others, but with his attention to detail and follow up, well worth it. Ed Parsons' company remodeled our kitchen, half bath, and family room and we are extremely satisfied with the results. He showed us computer-generated pictures of what the job would look like, and the results were close to that, but better. His work was of very high quality. We love our new natural cherry cabinets! His crew and subs were excellent. His foreman Mark was very personable as well as professional. Ed showed flexibility as we made some changes to the original plan including adding a cabinet and changing a cabinet door. He was readily available by text and phone, always responding promptly and effectively to our questions and requests. I would hire Ed again and have recommended him to others.

We had our entire downstairs remodeled last year. The results exceeded my expectations. The quality of the cabinets are outstanding. Ed was very easy to work with. There were no surprises. We are going to have him do our entire upstairs next year. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends or family.

The shelving and cabinets Parsons installed in our garage are both beautiful and functional. I especially like the "soft close" drawers. And the storage for my wife's art are excellent.
