Studio 321 has just completed the remodeling of our kitchen. It is a pleasure to work with the the owners, Dawn and Jeff Hartman. They are knowledgeable, talented and reliable. Our project began when Jeff came out to take measurements and present his ideas. Then we met with Dawn who helped us select sinks, faucet, hardware, materials and colors from the many in their showroom. The men who layed the porcelain tile floor, installed the sink and counter tops and glass backsplash showed up on time. They are so hard working, very experienced, and can solve any problems that arise immediately and with a great outcome. They are a pleasure to have in your home. Jeff inspects the work and has a hands on approach. We love our new kitchen. Thank you Studio 321 and thanks to Annette Sisco for recommending them to us. Jean and Mike Smith

I am building a new home and have been looking for tile for the past 5 months. I have looked at the big box stores, online of course, and never gave Studio 321 a shot. I was of the opinion that a smaller tile store wouldn't have enough options for me. I was wrong! As soon as I walked in, the owner Jeff greeted me and truly took an interest in me. He asked all the right questions to get an idea of the style of the home, our price range, etc. Jeff then proceeds to walk over and pulls this porcelain marble off the shelf. He brings it over and says "What do you think?" and he described the tile to me in detail. He then proceeded to put additional details with the tile and within 30 minutes of walking in the store, I had my tile picked out for my Master and Guest Showers! All I can say is anyone that is building or remodeling a home knows that picking out tile is probably the hardest part of the project. Big THANK YOU to Jeff and Dawn for making this process SO easy!

They have products for every budget whether you are interested in something special to dress things up, or something more basic while working within a budget, they can help.

Studio 321 is more than a remodeling company. Most important to us was their decorating expertise. They were most helpful in selecting colors, materials and fixtures. And, they have extremely talented staff craftsmen in addition to outside professional sub-contractors. Studio 321 is a friendly, talented and professional remodeling company and it was a pleasure having them in charge of our projects.

I would like to thank Dawn and Jeff at Studio 321 for their help and professionalism in our recent remodel. Dawn helped us tremendously in tile and design selection. Both made sure we were happy with the end results, which we are very happy. We could not have done this without their ideas and suggestions. I highly recommend Studio 321 to those who are unsure of what direction to go in regards to making the right choices for the style of their home. We have a tudor and we love the improvements to our home. I cannot stress enough the job they have done and will use them in the future with any other remodeling we do.

As a designer, I cannot say enough kind words about Studio 321. They are the only tile/plumbing resource in our area that stocks the best and most current tile and plumbing products. Jeff and his staff are full of knowledge and creativity when it comes to making a vision come alive. They take my ideas and run with them, usually making them even better than I had ever dreamed. I use them both with clients and in my own personal projects. They are very professional and the best in the biz when it comes to space planning, design, and install.

Studio 321 and its owner is worthless, all the shiny showroom bling and the design talk falls through, when you decide to use Studio 321, all the promises written and verbal are worthless, none of the promised installation dates come true, they use subcontractors and do not return phone calls or answers questions. Thanks to them a closing on our house falls through, since they don't finish the job they should have finished and confirmed 5 weeks ago. Buyers be warned, this was an 3-5 day "easy" job on a new construction and the company screwed it completely up its is still not finished ! There is no excuse for this, Studio 321 and its owner should be ashamed of themselves and I can only hope my warning helps many other people or builders in and around Hickory to avoid the same misery that you are putting me and my family through ! WE GOT NOTHING BUT LIES FROM THIS COMPANY AND THE OWNER!

i work on the manufacturing side of the Tile and Stone industry. Working with companys on the retail and installation side has its challenges. Studio 321 has minimized those challenges, for me, due to the professionalism and knowledge they bring to the table. No shortcuts and a higher quality of product knowledge, set them apart from other company's. Jeff and Dawn are first class professionals to work with.

I initially went to Studio 321 to look at their selections of tiles. My home has a European feel but I wanted this guest bath to have a more transitional feel. Found the perfect combination of three marble tiles that I loved but what made this experience special was the input I received from Jeff the owner. Upon coming out to look at the space, he made two important suggestions concerning the actual layout of walls for the bathroom. I decided to use his suggestions and the bathroom is so much better. So if you are looking for not just tiles but someone who can objectively give you ideas, I would strongly recommend this company

I contacted Jeff after I had already picked my granite and my cabinets, and asked him to help me with a backsplash. I had, inadvertently, picked whites in my granite and cabinets that did not go well together at all. Jeff came in at the very end and was able to find a backsplash that would incorporate all the elements I had already picked, and bring the whole room together. Kudos for a great job.

I am extremely pleased with the service provided. All members of the team were very courteous, professional, timely, and extremely neat, cleaning the work area after each day. They respected our personal privacy at all times. All the work performed has excellent quality and met all of our expectations. I recommend Studio 321 without reservation and would use them again for future work.

Overall, I was very pleased with Studio 321. Everyone I worked with was very nice and professional. The products we used from them are top notch and exactly what we wanted. Two negatives: 1. The shop supposedly opens at 10:00 am. On two occasions I arrived at 10:00 and no one showed up until about 20 minutes later. I feel it would be better for your business if someone was there at all times during business hours. 2. We ordered tiles for our bathroom, kitchen, and fireplace surround. The number of tiles calculated and ordered for the fireplace surround was not sufficient, even though we had given them the correct dimensions. Luckily, we were able to get more tiles the next day. Other than having to make an extra trip to Hickory (we live in Lenoir), this was not too bad. It bothered our contractor more than it did me, as he was on a very tight schedule. I would definitely use Studio 321 again and would recommend them to friends.

I can't say enough good things about Studio 321. I'm working on a whole house renovation and needed flooring and backsplash tile for multiple rooms. I first visited their showroom because they were the only authorized dealer of Walker Zanger Tile in the Hickory, NC area. In addition to Walker Zanger, Studio 321 carries an array of other tiles that you will never see in the big box stores. Jeff was a tremendous help in narrowing down the myriad of options available and had an impeccable eye for detail. He obtained numerous glass mosaic samples for me for items that I saw in store catalogs and provided multiple layout options. My contractor has his own tile layer, so I can't comment on Studio 321's installation services. But with Jeff's expertise, I'm sure their work is meticulous.

Jeff and his colleagues were responsible for bringing a professional and artistic flair to our home. Jeff's ability to take a client's ideas, embrace them, mold them and create the space you once saw only in your mind's eye is impressive. His ability to stock and resource current trends and products in our small community makes it wonderful for those of us living in Hickory and worth the trip for those living outside the community. Jeff created all the bathroom and kitchen work, tile work, stone work, and limestone floors in our residence; but most importantly…Jeff follows up years later with repairs or renovations. Jeff genuinely values his clients and continues to provide excellent quality even twenty years after the original work is complete. Studio 321 is a gem of Hickory.

After working with Jeff at Studio 321, We finally get it. We have remodeled 4 homes each with new tiled bathrooms and showers. Unfortunately, we have experienced two water damaged claims, countless issues with grouting and overall disappoint in workmanship. Lesson learned, we should have used Studio 321! After watching the craftsmanship and the artwork of the "Tile Engineers" at Studio 321 combined with the incredible design and layout by Jeff Hartman, we give Studio 321 our highest recommendation! Studio 321 has cutting edge products for all your designing needs for your Kitchen, Bath, Flooring and design elements. I was amazed at the craftsmanship that they offered. The showroom is in this cute stone building and shows so many unique and quality items in their space and actually show you the ideas throughout their showroom that you need to set off your own space. I was so pleased with the ideas they gave me on how to make my home efficient and pretty...the truth was in the pudding when my friends paid me those complements! They also have their own installer Hartman Tile and Marble which always dealt with us in a very professional and trusting way. We particularly appreciated Jeff keen eye for detail and quality work.
