Atlantic Kitchen Refacing

We moved into our home in Halifax in 2012. The kitchen cabinets were maple and not in great shape, they were worn, old and tired looking. The counters needed to be replaced. There were parts that had chipped and ripped completely off. We thought of replacing everything but the price was too costly. A friend mentioned Atlantic Kitchen. We had never heard of "refacing" but after seeing their kitchen we were amazed. We called John and discussed what they could do. We were a little skeptical but we decided to go ahead. WOW. It turned out perfect...just as good as John had said. The crew was friendly and very efficient. When they left, you would never have known they were here...accept a new, bright kitchen ! It is now 5 years later and everything still looks great.

We had John and his team come in and everyone was extremely professional and the results are stunning! I would highly recommend them to anyone. The time went a bit longer than we had hoped but only because the handles we ordered were impossible to get. Everyone that walks into our home cannot get over the transformation and love it! We really lucked out to find them and we are so glad we didn't listen to the negative review we saw on here. As with most things people generally only review when it is a negative experience. Ours certainly was not negative and you would be lucky to have them do your renovation.

I had the team come in a did a great job! Price was good and the craftsmanship was as well. I would be happy to bring them back for another job. It was in an out in 1 day. Thank you for the great job!

The only reason this business receives one star is because that's the minimum you can give. We hired this company to reface our kitchen in 2016. It was supposed to be a 2-3 day job, and following a 3.5 month ordeal we were left with a horrible end result. We tried to resolve the issues we encountered throughout the 3.5 months but the owner became very difficult to deal with and never made the job a priority. He went back on multiple promises, including to send a new installer (the one he sent admitted he wasn't experienced and when he asked for help the owner failed to provide it). The owner constantly sent the wrong material, and did wrong measurements. At one point he signed a list of everything wrong with it, agreeing things would be dealt with; they never were. At the end of it, I was left with a kitchen lacking durability and functionality. I got no value for money, and had to redo the entire kitchen. The product was lifting, doors too small or not level, gaps everywhere- the list goes on. The owner claims he is shutting doors soon yet continues to take business so so not hire him! Also he has been taken to court three times (that we could find) under several business names, all for breeching contracts. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy! I don't normally write reviews but I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else.
