Her commitment to detail, eye for color, and amazing creativity led her to grow Creative Elements to become what it is today: An interior and exterior home and business remodeling company. I would not recommend this company after our experience. While I could write a novel on all the issues we ran across during our project (as with most construction projects), we agreed to pay a premium for project management, professionalism and quality of work but did not receive any of those. We were charged 40%-100%+ mark up on items in our bid. How do we know? They accidentally sent us our bid with their markups included. I'd suggest using a different company.

We do want to address the pricing concern directly: as with any contracting business, our bids include labor, materials, project management, insurance, warranty, and operational costs. An industry-standard profit margin is what allows us to pay our skilled tradespeople fairly, carry proper licensing and insurance, and stand fully behind every project we complete — which we did on yours.

Lucie and her team transformed our theater room! They did a fantastic job building in a kitchenette into our previously empty theater room space to create a wonderful entertaining area and beautiful "concession stand" for the whole family. Her vision, design ideas and attention to detail showed in the finished product. And the team was amazing to work with at every step of the way -- keeping us informed and staying tight to the calendar they provided. Lucie was an absolute joy to work with on updating our home. The entire home was repainted, kitchen updated with paint, stain and new appliances including adding a second oven, hardwood floors installed and master bath remodeled (including replacing large window with a transom window and removal of bathtub to accommodate a walk-in shower). Lucie always immediately answered my calls or texts during the project. Her sub contractors were always on time and worked above and beyond what was expected. There was no lag time in the project and it was finished in the time frame that was expected.

Lucie and team are the BEST contractors I’ve ever worked with. She and her team remodeled our kitchen and repainted/removed popcorn from multiple rooms in the house. Lucie is truly a gem… she’s always on time, over-communicative, effortlessly handles any changes in schedule, and does her best to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible when your house is being renovated. The skilled workers she employs are fantastic. They go above and beyond the work, are very friendly, and make sure it’s done right even if it takes a little longer. I could not speak more highly of Lucie and team! I would hire them over and over again for anything.

Lucie successfully transformed our small outdated kitchen and powder bathroom into a large beautiful and functional space. Lucie and her entire team are fantastically talented, respect each other and are eager to make their clients happy. We highly recommend Creative Elements to anyone looking to remodel. We so enjoyed working with Lucie, her assistant Jennifer and the entire crew. We could not be more pleased with the quality of work they performed on our home. We will definitely use them again for future projects.

Lucie and her staff helped us convert an extra bedroom into a beautiful sunroom by adding windows, repainting and creating a new opening from the main living area. We also repainted the hallway and changed out some door hardware. The project ran like clockwork and was done in 1/3 the time that other contractors had quoted. Everybody we dealt with was pleasant and skilled, and the disruption to our lives was kept to a minimum largely due to the speed and efficiency of Lucie and her scheduling. Lucie is incredibly responsive both before and after signing the contract. And she and her staff provided much-needed (and much-appreciated) advice and support with the decor decisions to be made. I can't say enough about how thrilled we are with our results, and we will definitely be calling Creative Elements when we are ready for our next project.

I hired this company to do a complete remodel of my master bathroom.This included removing the tub and relocating a shower there, removing windows and installing a glass block window, installing new custom built cabinets, tiling, plumbing and electrical. Lucie Hasek worked with us to get an estimate closer to what we needed. Both Lucie and her foreman Jorge were always prompt to get back with me, and provided a schedule so I would know who to expect each day. All the workmen were very professional and did great work. Lucie helped me select tile, countertops, plumbing and light fixtures. My new cabinets are very well-built (solid wood) and the paint job is immaculate. The finished bathroom is beautiful and everything I had hoped it would be. The experience of working with Creative Elements was so positive, I plan on hiring them for future remodels.

Creative Elements (Lucie Hasek Whitson and team) transformed my small hall bathroom, taking it from disaster to dynamic. Lucie listened to and respected my ideas and at the same time offered immeasurably helpful suggestions based on her years of experience, such as tiling all the way to the ceiling in the tub/shower area, (a look I really like but had not thought about) and considering a polished chrome finish for the fixtures (so glad I chose it). The team she has assembled are all highly professional and invested in the quality of their work. For example, when Lonnie, the plumber, noticed a chip on the lip of the tub which had been delivered to me, he called the supplier and asked that a replacement be sent out. He explained that this defect, even though it would be covered by tile, could possibly allow water damage at a later date. All of Lucie’s crew members arrived on time, worked hard and completed the remodel as a seamless unit. I am extremely pleased with the result and plan to have Creative Elements return to work their magic on my master bath.

We had Creative Elements remodel our kitchen. We did a full remodel and they did an amazing job! Lucie's communication is exceptional. She keeps the project on time and everything tied together. Not only did they come in within their quote, they also finished in the exact time frame quoted. I have referred Creative Elements many times and will continue to do so. We will be using them for other remodeling projects - they are a pleasure to work with.

Creative Elements remodeled the kitchen and outdoor patio in my home on two seperate projects. The entire team from Creative Elements is amazing. Both of my two remodel experiences were amazingly better than I could have asked for. The crews are ALWAYS on time. The project started and completed on time and the second one was a little ahead of schedule. The staff and crews were well dressed, clean and polite. Howerver, the crown of Creative Elements is Lucie Whitson. Her eye for detail and imagination coupled with the management of her team and the overall projects is special and a true rarity. She took my ideas and made them into something I could not have imagined. She worked with me from the beginning, talked with me throughout the projects, and made sure I was completely happy upon their completion. I cannot recommend a more complete and competent company, staff, and owner than Creative Elements. I plan on having her come back to redo my master bed and bath next!
