It’s taken a while to write this, but I feel it’s important for Houzz users to hear our experience. We hired this contractor in June 2022 for a $98,000 kitchen renovation, which included demoing the existing kitchen, repairing the area, and building a new, relocated kitchen. While the design was well done, the execution was deeply disappointing. The project faced ongoing delays, poor communication, and subpar workmanship. Despite our efforts to work through issues, progress stalled repeatedly. Subcontractors would arrive without notice, leave jobs incomplete, and much of the work—especially in the original kitchen area—did not meet acceptable standards. We formally ended the contract in July 2023, with the project still unfinished. Key reasons included: Chronic project delays Missed deadlines far beyond what was agreed Unresolved punch-list items Poor quality in several aspects of the work When we raised concerns, the contractor was often condescending and ultimately became combative at our final meeting, making empty legal threats that only confirmed our decision to part ways. At that point, we had paid all but the final $9,000—and the unfinished work far exceeded what remained due. We cannot recommend this contractor based on our experience.

Karen was efficient and professional throughout our complete remodel of our 25 year-old home. Her design ideas and contacts with service people were invaluable as we navigated a complex project. We took everything out down to the walls, so this was almost like a complete new build. We hired Karen and Bill to remodel our kitchen and the adjacent dining room, as well as replace the flooring and trim throughout our home. I really enjoyed working with Karen on the design aspect of the project as her interior designer eye was extremely helpful and one of the key reasons that I hired them. She was able to incorporate our requirements in a manner that was beautiful and brought our vision to life. Bill then handled all of the implementation from the contractor side. Their cabinet, tile and flooring guys were magnificent. Our project came out better than expected and I would highly recommend Karen and Bill.

As UK residents living in England, the thought of remodelling our second home whilst thousands of miles away filled us with apprehension...... until of course we met Karen and Bill! From the initial meeting we were reassured by their incredible passion, energy, creativity and honest attention to getting our remodel completed on time. They both devoted themselves to our project creating beautiful and practical designs whilst ensuring that all fittings, materials and craftsmen were available to complete the project within our tight timescale which, given the tight supply of materials and skilled craftsmen, was an absolute miracle. Karen and Bill proceeded with turning the vision into reality while keeping us updated in the UK with their regular emails, often surprising us with their resourcefulness and keeping the project on time, on style, within cost and sometimes even ahead! They took a huge load off our shoulders giving us complete reassurance that our home would be everything we dreamed of……and sure enough, it is! Thank you Karen and Bill! We absolutely love our new home.

I was very pleased with the work Interior Solutions did for us! Karen and Bill were able to take our ideas and turn them into tangible reality with stunning results. The house was still in the 1980s when we bought it and we knew it needed help. We had asked a couple of other contractors to come and talk to us about what needed to be done, but none of them had the professionalism that Karen and Bill did. Covid19 delays, supply shutdowns, and black mold put a slow down on the work; more than a normal amount of construction difficulties, but through it, they were great to work with. I felt they had amazing subcontractors working with them, people they had worked with for years, artists in their own right. I consider myself very fortunate to have them as highly competent contractors as well as friends.

After my home was destroyed by water damage, Bill suggested an honest and realistic plan for the renovation. Then Karen came in using her creativity and knowledge of interior design, textures/colors, modern design and current industry trends. They both worked on it like it was their own home, with attention to details that would make all the difference. I felt like we were all on the same team and same line of communication. I had a excellent experience w/Integrity One Construction and its affiliate, Interior Solutions. I was moving to a new city (Phoenix) for work and didn’t have a lot if time to spend shopping for a contractor. I reached out to Interior Solutions via HOUZZ. I met with Bill and Karen McFarland. Karen helped me articulate my design vision and made spot on suggestions re: colors, counters, flooring and appliances. Bill and Karen then brought that vision to life with a beautiful design plan. They were helpful, honest, professional and incredibly responsive from beginning to end. Project completion took a bit longer than planned due to a covid-related delay in the delivery of my cabinets. Demo and installation were performed by crews who were professional and cleaned up afterwards. A great experience from beginning to end!

Everything was great except for the tile contractor they used. Hopefully they are using another tile contractor now. The tile doing the work did a fine job but the lead contractor had no integrity.
