He is thoughtful in his planning allowing us to stay within a budget while still feeling completely satisfied with our end result. He was a delight to work with, making the project fun and exciting. My kitchen/dining area/basement renovation was the third project Ruby Construction has completed for me. Meticulous, completely customer-focused, excellent communication. Superior craftsmanship. We hired Ruby Construction to do some major renovations in an older home (100 years old). The work included combining two bedrooms into one larger area, expanding and completely redoing a master bathroom, adding a screened in porch and sunroom, adding a second floor laundry room, and adding a tile backsplash and other cosmetic details in the kitchen. Owen, the owner, worked with us to design the new spaces and provided some great insights and inspirations. The work was carried out in an extremely professional manner, including keeping the work area neat and orderly each day. Each step was explained along the way, and we were kept up to speed on progress and consulted on any decisions that needed to be made. When subcontractors were brought in to do specialized tasks, he oversaw their work to ensure quality and timeliness. All of this kept the whole project on schedule and within our planned budget. Owen's attention to detail and workmanship were exceptional. In the end, the new spaces were not just highly functional and practical, but were beautiful as well. His tile work and other finishing touches were especially well done, and he made certain to match not just the character of the home, but also many of the details such as moldings and trim. These areas are now our favorite parts of the house. We could not be more satisfied with Ruby Construction and would do business with them again without hesitation.

Owen did an extensive renovation of my kitchen and built a family-room addition to my house. His work was exemplary. First of all, his creativity allowed us to plan spaces that are really striking. His estimates were very accurate and the quality of work was outstanding. He guided us through our material selections skillfully and did incredible finish work -- right down to custom milling wooden trim to match the 80-year old trim existing in the house. He is also honest, trustworthy and very kind. Owen's attention to detail is second-to-none. I highly recommend him.
