Concrete Evolutions

Concrete Evolutions did a great job with our concrete driveway and sidewalks. Very nice people to work with and the quality of work was as good as it gets.

Do NOT use Ron Ummel for your patio. Ours looked beautiful for about six months and then began to chip and peel off in spots. It is not at all wearing well as he said it would. We are very unhappy with how it looks. After numerous attempts by us and by our landscaper to ask him to examine our patio and attempt to fix the problem, he has totally refused to even respond. In our previous home we had stamped concrete patio for over 25 years and never has this problem.

Absolutely beautiful work turned the head of one of my clients who included this company in a huge renovation of a residence. While most of the work involved bringing the purchased home up to code, the patio planned was to be the benchmark of beauty for the renovation. Unfortunately Concrete Evolutions apparently underbid the job and did not let any of us know, while signing documents to the contrary, that he had no intention of doing this work. We eventually figured out that the quote was a loss-leader-over-winter sort of thing and left a very frustrated homeowner and general contractor "holding the bag". Concrete Evolutions rarely responded to questions, eventually disappearing all together. The patio is still in flux, undone, due to this contractor. We had contingency money in our side of the bid; things might have been worked out, but all I can say now is "Buyer Beware".
